Omg. I am so inspired. I've been dreaming about becoming a vanlifer for years. I'm finally in a place financially where I can make it happen. I have been looking for a conversion van for months with no luck. I never thought you could do so much with a minivan. This is amazing. Thank you so much for sharing. This is exactly what I want. 😍
Paula Robinson Yes! I was looking for a conversion van at first but minivans are a little better on gas mileage and slightly more stealthy! I’m so glad I have inspired you! Go out there and make your dreams come true like I did!
I just restored mechanically to the original condition a rear wheel 1997 green teal Ford aerostar van. Totally rebuilt engine ( including but not limited to fuel injectors, cylinder heads, oil pump) and everything around the engine brand new(alternator, starter, AC compressor, AC drier, AC condenser, radiator, all belts and hoses, motor blower, pollies, belt tensoner, power steering pump, water pump, fuel pump, ). Rebuilt transmission and differential, wheel assembly(rotors, drums, brakes, wheel bearings ), Rack and pinion. Suspension (inner and outer tie rods, shocks, springs ). Body and interior of this van(excellent conditions ). Miles(under 100 miles on everything mechanical ). Due to personal problems, I am selling it for what I am into (11,500 USA ), Van was rebuilt in its entirety by a 30 years of experience master mechanic (one of the best in the USA ). If interested, text me at 214 392 7036 (keyword; vanliving ). Antonio, the 18 wheeler Due to personal problems,
Very well done van. I like how the bed is made with the auto deploying legs. You used every inch of space. Excellent. I will have to look for the video on how made the bed. I recall seeing it some time ago. Safe travels.
Nice, well organized build. My only suggestion is to park so the van provides much of your shade. The end of the video is a perfect illustration of what I mean. You are discussing the tarp providing shade when it isn't but we can see the other side of the van is in shade. This is simply a matter of getting accustomed to knowing which direction you are facing when you park and you can use a compass to do that. Good video! Happy trails!
Nice job. I have been trying to plan a frame for my bed in my minivan. Your design is great! Just what I've been looking for. Easy to build, setup and removable. Plenty of storage too.
This is fantastic! What kind of van do you have- maybe you said and I missed it. What I love about your bed is you don’t have to slide and make and unmake the bed everyday. Every time I watch a tour and that is happening I say “NOPE!” I can have a twin since I’m just one person. I want to be able to hop into bed without the whole rigmarole of pulling out pillows, sheets, moving things around. You girls aced it!
Super functional setup. Good job. 1 suggestion: If you use shade cloth (the mesh kind) instead of the tarp, it's A LOT quieter in the wind. The tarp is better in the rain. But it's probably not good enough to leave the door open anyway.
You've done an awesome job! Very nicely done! 🥰 Travel safe!❤️(if you'd be willing to take advice from someone old enough to be your grandmother, switch that bear spray to wasp spray. Yi can still aim it at a bad guy, but you won't be coughing and hacking along with him, lol)
You guys are adorable :) Love your van build. Very personalized cozy and homey. And functional too. Thumbs up & Subscribed with alerts ;) note: that wind noise is a video killer. There are microphones with foam windscreens online under 20 bucks. I might've skipped to the next video on account of the wind noise but y'all are so watchable lol plus I like your minivan build as I'll be doing a build very similar. I hope you vlog post your travel places on here!
Olivia Chirici I love your simple but comfy and practical van conversion. 💓 If you wouldn't mind a tiny advice☺ get rid of the febreze as it is toxic specially in a small space. What I suggest is getting a spray bottle at the dollar store and using vinegar to deodorizer the smell of the van & easy wash up of dirty dishes😉. You could also invest with a little more money and get tee tree oil. Tee tree is a ant-viral, anti-bacterial and anti anti-fungal. 10 drops to a cup of clean water goes a long way, for deodorizer for your camper. It has multiple uses. If you choose to you can use it for under arm, you can put the Tee tree oil in your first aid kit. It is a topical (of all the above that i mentioned)also helps take itches away from misquito bites to pain relief from cuts and cleans the cuts so infection will not set in. Happy and safe trails to you both. Wish you two the best. 😀💓
A nice tour of a very good build! However, the audio suffered greatly from wind noise, and uneven levels. Granted, audio is tough to manage, but as time goes by, I'm sure you'll begin to learn the tricks of the trade. Here's one: you can't depend on the camera mic for really good audio. You will need a wired or wireless mic, so that it can be close to or on the person speaking. Hope you both have a good trip on the road!
Ray Sills I know the audio isn’t good, but not everything can be perfect! This was just filmed on my phone because I had nothing else and I wanted to show people my build!
@@oliviachirico6458 Hi Olivia! The video part was excellent... hard to believe that you were only using your phone! But, I'm a retired TV network audio guy, so I guess I'm a bit hypersensitive to audio issues. ;). You have an excellent van build.. and you'll be able to add things as time goes by. Safe travels!
@Ray Sills You are NOT hypersensitive to the issue. I'm not a professional, but it was difficult to hear & if they choose to do this, they need to accept constructive criticism w/o becoming defensive, or their viewership will suffer. I don't understand why everybody wants to jump on this bandwagon, but not be mature enough to handle feedback. Accept it...if you put yourself out there in the public eye it's not all going to be a pat on the back. Live & learn!
Hi! I speak spanish,,,, but try write un inglish.... Like me your style,,, we have a voyaguer van, and I'm thinking Converter to van jajajajjaja, i don't know if can but try! Good look for You!
Heh guys great ideas! Can you tell me if you have had to invest in alot of video equipment to video onto a UA-cam channel? I am a Senior building out my mini van, have everything I think I need and would like to video my progress and travels, but just not sure how much I would have to invest in equipment. Is it possible to just use my mobile smart phone. Please help. Thanks, Linda
The bedframe is very interesting the way the ends fold up & down..did you have it built custom for your vehicle? Or was it bought? Thanks, safe travels to you ladies..Ken
well, any of these non-sticky utensils should be treated with care! whenever you scratch it. you should replace it. also, did you try to find any kind of swirl front seat?
Do y'all stay in it permanently as your home, because I am, I just kept mine simple, I actually sleep on the floor as the Japanese, Chinese, and Koreans do, but I have to make a storage shelf for mystuff, any ideas?,
Mashah White Cloud not permanently. Our travels have stopped for a little while but will start back up again soon. And do a similar design as mine but with no mattress if you like sleeping on the floor!
@@oliviachirico6458 I love sleeping on the floor, I wake up refreshed, I'm getting a cooler/freezer that truckers have too, getting organic linen throw blankets and Native American throw blanket, which I am Cherokee/Irish, so I'm keeping my set up simple
Everybody wants to do this these days, but seems to be just jumping in w/o fine tuning for the viewers. They need to at least do a trial run & play it back or something so they know what we're experiencing. It's very distracting & disturbing & I would imagine they're losing viewers because of it. I know if it had been any longer, I definitely would've tuned out because of the wind & audio dropping out.
Beautiful lady beautifully explained.
Excellent set up, enjoy be safe. Beautiful dog.👍👍
I hope you had fantastic adventures in your well planned out minivan camper.
Lovely to see young girls going on adventures, I wish you safe and successful trips. I wish I can convince my daughter to do a trip like this.
