I was shocked to learn you are much older than I would've ever guessed after watching your shows. You have such a genuine spirit and it would be amazing to take craft classes at your property. It's wonderful to see an old soul like myself that just loves things from our past and trying to reuse them. I am curious what it's like coming home from these wild adventures of yours to your home where you can't eat anything you want and have a bed to sleep in. You're truly inspiring! I admire your zest for life and incredible talents. Your video evoked a sense of nostalgia for me. My dad, like you, built his own house and shares that same passion. After moving from the UK to Greece (where he was born), even after 20 years, he's still fine-tuning bits of it, constantly brimming with new ideas, tirelessly creative without a hint of laziness. Absolutely commendable, continue the great work and your dream Hazen! Oh, and please post another video when you have made further progress! 😊

Amazingly impressive! I just finished renovating my appartment. Remade a one room and kitchen into two room and kitchen I tor out the ugly plastic mats and found wood that I treated and put smokey oilwax on and remade the bathroom so tiny but it grew bigger. I’d love to show you the before and after pics but don’t know how. I used to have an old cottage in an island in Finland where I excavated the garden that was forgotten for 40 years and there where surprisingly beautiful stoneterasses I didn’t know of. It became a paradise - well now a lost one.

Am an artist/photographer who used too restore old furniture and love unique autos so I can identify wiy]th your passions but I would never trekbarefoot thru the Amazon~ LOL

That’s a beautiful place, I love repurposing old lumber and metal just about anything.
I can see it all now. CAMP HAZEN for kids and adults of all ages....Maybe some events can be;
1.) "Trail Blazen, with Hazen?" - A donkey ride to the top of a hill to see the sunrise or sunset.
2.) "Ceramics and Hammocks" - Where everyone makes their own dishes and plates for their stay then they make their beds.
3.) "Sunrise Surprise cooking classes" - Starts with hunt and gather then cook with hand made fire. (Some will go hungry. Haha).
4.) "The Worms of Many Colors" - An adventure in lunchtime eating.
5.) "Color My World." - Stain Glass making.
6.) "Birch Bark Burning Art"
7.) "Build a Barn" where each new group of people learns just enough to help you build an eventual barn. They get to sign their name on the wall before they go home.
8.) "Gems and Jewels, Straw and Stools" - Handmade jewelry, basket weaving and small furniture adventures.
9.) "Bird watching for Beginners."
and last but not least...
10.) "Storytime around the Stonefire."

I put an oil on them. I didnt need to sand
