Interesting thing is that actual shiki tohno's philosophy is also quite similar to the priciples of tepeu i.e to live their life with their full capabilities, do mistakes, learn new things, grow as a human being, create something new. That's what he teaches to arcuied as well to enjoy "worthless" and "meaningless" things. Since he can see death itself, his life is short. That's why he appreciate life itself more than any human being does in tsukihime.

Blue Tezca here is the absolute GOAT. Dude manage to convince a bunch of inherently apathetic dinosaurs to fight for their own future for once in their lives. In a sense, what he has done here was given a small step in helping "uplift" the Deinos to a state close to Humanity.
And he did so so that they all could hold onto and maintain their respect and dignity in their final moments. The utmost respect to King Tezca here for what he's done.
Also, its FRIKKEN DINOSAURS WITH GUNS! Its rad as all heck!

well it did cut off 2m health so at least it's something. It took like, about 10% of ORT's total health.

Something came to mind with Koyanska's comment about the Deinos being overmatured intelligent beings. They couldn't care less that they are facing extinction yet they are capable of so much more.
It all reminds me of Tsuki No Sango. I don't know if it's part of the type-moon universe but, it's set in the future and humanity has grown bored of it's own progress. They become a successful civilization but one day collectively just lost the will to live and just live by idly. That's roughly what I can remember about the setting, been a long time since I read Tsuki No Sango.

Damn Dino Shiki got some point. Without evil we can never appreciate, well distinguish more like, good.
Without hunger the concept of food and cooking wouldn't exist, just like Deinos and their shitload of maize. They are neither needed nor wanted. It was just a matter of fact that they are edible. A deino can go their entire lifetime without ever knowing what corn even taste like, and it would be the morally correct, most efficient way of life.
Without conflict we can't appreciate peace. Just like the Deinos 66 million years of peace. Just like Tepeu said, you can't really call it peace when literally nothing happens. Whether they exist or not, it makes no difference to the planet, nor to Malla, nor to ORT, not even to themselves. It's the perfect form of peaceful oblivion, free from pain and full of happiness.
This LB demonstrated that the perfect happiness and ideal life we as human beings have been desperately looking for is practically just nonexistence. And I do agree with this nihilistic take. A life full of pain is suffering, and a life full of happiness and devoid of pain is meaningless.
Take that as you may. I myself see this that the only salvation to humanity is indeed oblivion, be it by robbing them from every impulse of a living being like the Deinos, or by actual extinction. You might argue otherwise that the point of showing that life is meaningless with or without pain is because there is meaning to be found independent of whether there is pain or not. If so then what are those meanings? How can you know that those meanings are correct? Are those meanings worth a lifetime of pain and happiness, and is objectively better than just not being born at all?

The meaning of life has always been to live and strive to find happiness through the misery. We are all different, flawed people, and by our own nature conflict may never end
But striving to end suffering is a beautiful meaning on itself, as such is trying to live even through the suffering.
The meaning of life is living. The meaning of life is doing whatever you can to fill the void inside yourself and keep that darkness away.

I disagree with Tepeu/Nasu that a world of equals would end up just like Mictlan because that only allows for one, unattainable vision of equality, that in which everyone is truly equal in the eyes of everyone else. Equality can be achieved without this because so long as everyone has equal opportunities to make choices for themselves and their communities and is equally well taken care of, then a world of equals will have been achieved.

No. Tepeu is right. Everyone being exactly equal will provide no meaning to our individuality. Everyone has their strengths and their weaknesses, but to completely do away with those in an attempt to equalize everyone would provide no satisfaction. This does not mean no one should be treated equally. Everyone deserves their opportunity to make that change, but not everyone should achieve it. No one should be denied simply for who they are, but for what they can provide. In rejection there's reflection and with reflection there's understanding where you're truly needed.
