I'm glad that you guys got the on the torch series back up and running! I've watched all of the originals multiple times and love all that I've learned from you guys in these videos. I'm anxiously awaiting more already!!!
You guys made me believe that I can melt glass and turn it into art. Now I have a cozy little set up in my garage and work part time at a local glass studio. Love seeing you make more videos. Let's keep building a community that we are proud of!
I'm thrilled to see you're working together and producing instructional videos again. I really appreciated your advice on choosing a mentor with an eye toward their character. The hammer spoon is gorgeous! I love the choice of colors for the piece. The green stardust accents are so eye catching.
Good to see ya back Dustin! Your videos have helped me immensely on my journey and adventures in lampworking! Love all the insights you give, you are an asset to the community! Thanks for all you do!
Wig wags are my favorite! I just started melting last month, my best friend who has been blowing glass for 10 years is finally helping me. You guys have been a huge help as well!
Idea for a future video: How to make a drinking glass with a Mirage torch. We have all seen goblets and fancy glasses but it would be cool to see making a pint glass, rocks glass or even coffee mug. Might as well make it an aditional challenge to only use the mirage portion if the torch as thats what most people have access to.
So glad to see you guys back!! I cannot thank you enough for all the videos you have done so far! I wouldn't be where I am today without you! Looking forward to all the new things to come!
Another great demo! Thank you guys for taking time out of your life to do this and share your knowledge with us for free! I've learned SO much from watching these videos. They go a long way, especially when you don't have anyone to teach you.... Well, we all do now! 🙏
So glad to see you guys making these again. I’ve been off the torch for a while and just happened to stumble across this at the perfect time. I’ve been wanting to get back on the torch and you guys definitely got my attention again. When Dustin said choosing the right teacher is important it hit home for me. I’ve had a hard time with the 2 teachers I’ve had being very hard to work with. Thank you for waking me up to the realization that I have to continue trying!
I’m so glad you guys are back!!! 🙌🏽 Perfect timing as I’ve started blowing glass again!! Great Demo!!! And Love that you guys stand with BLM and against police brutality!! ✊🏽
So good to see you guys back in action. I've learned so much from your guys, probably wouldn't be working glass today if I hadn't stumbled across your videos a few years back. Thanks so much.
stoked to see on the torch back, dropped into the live streams a few times and watched a few other videos and the on the torch format just resonates with me... after watching a lot of the old videos i started noticing defects on pieces that i used and would make comments about how or why based on what i learned from those episodes
One of these days I'm gonna win one or buy one of your absolute beautiful hand blown art pieces just to put in a case in my glass shop. I seriously love watching you guys work and create such amazing pieces and your great vibes you put off thank you guys very much for taking the time to share all these tips and tricks with us.
So glad to see you guys making videos again! I hope you're planning on doing a bunch of new stuff for us to learn. I recently got a wet saw and a flat lap, I'd love to see a demo on slicing and polishing murrine for encasement and use in a project. Looking forward to seeing what tricks you've got up your sleeves. Be Well Guys!
So glad y'all are back at it. I've learned so much from you and can't wait for more of that wonderful knowledge. That peace came out great Justin..someone is gonna be happy camper to get that beauty.
Glassblowers (and fusers) are the best community iv ever been fortunate enough to belong to! That being said, I drool now more than when I was a toddler.
Great seeing you back! Your videos inspired me to take classes and I'm currently working on making my own space to do it! I actually got the Revere Phantom kit unpacked and waiting for the space and for me to buy an oxygen tank. Excited for your next video!
Nice piece Dustin! Glad to see you guys back at it! All the work lately has been great! Gotta check out your class! Great message at the beginning too. With the right push and the right support, we can make the change the world needs.
This is awesome! So happy to see this come back. Season 1 started right when I was getting into this art, so this is so exciting to see and feels a bit nostalgic!
So glad to see you guys back and with such a great message for the community! Can’t wait to see where things go with the channel and excited to see all the new content!! You really started a glass revolution and spawned a generation of glassblowers that I’m proud to be a part of ❤️❤️
Crazy! So glad to see you guys back at it! I digged the live streams too. My question is what do you find is the best gauge silver wire for fuming? Or do you just use coin
YOOO! So glad you guys are back! I thought you guys made some new channel I couldnt find or something! So pumped. U guys are so good at what you do, and are excellent people with lots oflove and gratitude for everything and everyone. So glad you guys are back at it as a team! Looking forward to more vids! yissss
Well, I've watched it. Man, the nostalgia on that one! Whew! Felt just like old times. Excellent quality and talking points! Wonderful jokes made and good things pointed out. See ya at the stream!
Hi. So love the video, glad you guys are back. I recently got into glass blowing. Got a small set up in my shed, tiny little torch, and a crockpot full of vermiculite for a kiln. I got into this because I really wanted to try and work for myself because Im only 22 and I've already made alot of mistakes, and now I want to improve my life for myself with the help of my disabled father. (He has been doing leather working a few years, got me into the thought of crafting). I really love your guys video, and it teaches me a lot. A question I have, because I've watched your flame chemistry video like, 20 times, How do you heat up glass without having gravity win out in the end? I've had many of my pipes close or bend and unable to fix them. I don't throw them away in hopes some day I can, but for now, it's just really frustrating. I really want to get better at this. I'm enjoying myself, and I have lofty goals of kinds of pipes I want to make. I'm just having difficult with dealing with how quickly glass goes from workable to puddle. I keep ending up with puddle. Thanks!! Can't wait to watch the next one.
Welcome back! This is the most exciting thing to happen all year lol. I was rewatching the Vac Stack video, and I am curious about vacuum pumps. How strong of a vacuum pump is needed to do vac stacks? I have found lots of affordable options around 1/4 HP and I'm sure they'd work fine, but I don't know enough about the process to know for sure!
It's so great to be back, thank you all for tuning in!!
