  • This Drip Irrigation System is good for a small area, especially great to use when you go on vacation. But BEWARE, if you are not good with smartphone apps, you are not going to like this system. You must use the appp to control the timing, there is not interface on the controller, only one button that flashes morse code. But if you love controlling everything with apps, then this system is a good value for the price!

i like when a system gives you option to use either app or manually...even a old school grey lcd screen like a calculator would be nice..lol

Hi Tikki , been watching your videos and doing great with your advice. Trying to grow Kratky tomatoes. Do you test your nutrient water with an EC meter? Also my lettuce is a little limp. What can I do to firm it up? Thanks so much!

Right?! Everything has to have an app? I actually miss my flip phone. Thanks for the comment!

A watering can might help too. Save the electricity and buy more seeds.

The reason for requiring an app, is everybody is cheap. It's extra hardware for a display, buttons, etc. Costs more. But I get ya. I prefer not having to use an app also.

Your Aloe Vera looks healthy, but Aloe likes to dry out between watering. The pump probably has a 20 plant capacity.

Thanks for the tip goodgoat. That Aloe has had a few pups that I replanted in other pots, and they are all very healthy! I sometimes forget to water them, and you are right, they don't seem to mind. Thanks for the comment!

I would not purchase a device that requires loading an app on a smartphone.

Thanks lodestonedavid, I guess I'm not alone in disliking apps!
