The idea is to drop your cartridge into the breach then as you load your second cartridge the bolt will close and load the first round into the chamber. By this time you have two cartridges ready to fire. Clever litle system

Thank you for the update, very nice shotgun. 😊The end of the day as long as it works for you it’s all good, you do not need to spend thousands to shoot clays!

100% agree! Affordability is what can get people into the sport and that is a good thing!

My 2p; having taken a couple of these apart & repaired
If you don’t like cleaning guns and you want this gun to not malfunction it isn’t the gun for you. It needs to be kept clean around the gas ports and the mag tube so the piston can freely move.
These are built to a price and you can tell when you look at the finish of the components but they are good for the money.
Ejection problem usually occurs on short case shells, never had an issue with 70mm. Hull Superfast 27g super in both I used.

Thanks! I agree it needs to be kept clean, I always clean mine after every use, mostly because it gets absolutely filthy! I mostly only use 28g 70mm shells.

The escort magnum is made for 3 inch shells after all

I bought one of these at the beginning of this year 2024, Its does not like 65 mm cartridges but loves anything which has a 34g load. I have only put 75 shells trough it so far. Good for the money.

I also discovered this recently! 65mm shells were a nightmare

Have you tried to put an aftermarket choke tube in it? If so, what kind have you found that fit it?

    Very good and informative mate!
What snap cap are you using there? The standard plastic ones don’t cycle correctly!

Thanks! I had the same issue with plastic ones and found the plastic rims would break. These ones are by a company called a zoom, full metal and also have the benefit of being weighted to weigh the same as a regular shell so they are also good for practicing dual loading etc!

@BobbysGunChannel afraid not but if you search for "A Zoom 12 Gauge snap caps" online you should find them!

Is yours the 3 or 3.5inch version? I can’t get my 3.5 to cycle clay loads (70mm 28g) at all.

Use 32g or above, clay loads are generally too low powered for semi autos.

The only Achilles heel is the rubber o-ring that may fail at a critical moment

      @UKGuns  5 місяців тому +1

@David-i7f1p I have had my Hatsan for years and it has never let me down. Also these are very common in the UK so I think finding a replacement o-ring would be relatively easy and inexpensive

    Is it a 2 + 1 shot or more?

I have one. The Turks are making fantastic guns and they are proof that you do NOT have to spend a fortune to get a quality product. Anyone that says otherwise is only displaying their ignorance.

Many Americans are skeptical of them but they also have a lot more choice and variety compared to here.
