- using plunder chests to steal other plunder chests multiple times
- spending 80 coins on hootennanies
- using his warp block to warp with a character on the same space as him
- using chance time to give his own star to lead
truly a menace

That entire Western Land game was peak Mario Party.
The first time my girlfriend and I played Western Land together, we made it up to the milk bar with like 100 coins each, and so for the rest of the game we were just back to back hootenanny-ing and losing our fuckin minds
There's NO reason it should have been funny but it made us damn near piss ourselves
So you can imagine the big grin that spread across my face when I saw the milk bar and saw the gears turning in Simple's head
Simple begging for the pity coin to gather everyone back and then getting it at the last second at 1:06:13 is the best moment in this entire video
Roanin being the punching bag of the group the whole time is kinda sad but he committed to the bit pretty good.
The way Simple manages to make the player list on the overlay more disgusting every time they play is a skill I wish that I had

Fun fact: The garbage text is caused from using a save meant for the EU version in the US version of the game. The game is reading text data from wrong places in memory because the game was set to a different language in EU version and broken text is the result. To fix this, you have to open the EU version of the game, set the language to English and reload the US version.

me and my friends had a special law for the wild west board -- the "hootenanny" ruleset. if you passed the hootenanny square, and you could afford it, you must purchase the hootenanny. given that it drops everyone off after the event the square before the hootenanny... everyone was always broke

The flaw with hootinani outside of its relatively useless effect is if 2 people want to put u there the amount of coins u get per round makes it hard to get out
