My speculation is that meteroite was a piece of a world that was previously destroyed by Celestia. Since it seems that the meteroite out of Tevyat's atmosphere. If this patch have similar elements as the "Unreconciled Stars" --- is possible that those relics posses memories from the previous holders.
Ohhhh that would be really interesting! I'm really looking forward to seeing how this unfolds! With meteorite and stars being involved maybe Mona might come and help us use astrology to access those memories
While playing the big quest for the chasm, I nearly cried, I think you all know why, it’s my favorite quest ever now I found it funny and serious at the same time, but the end cutscene when we were escaping was absolutely the best I’ve ever seen. Now I’m here learning chasm lore because I’m sad the story for that ended lol. I took a 6 month break and I’m so glad I came back because I love the stories of Genshin Impact always
Correction the memory that scaramouche saw is not leonards memories...the one you and mona saw are leonards but scaramouche saw different perspective..he saw the outside of that memory thats why its speculated that the one he saw is the fake sky and star plus its the fatui the one causing the meteor to fell leading by jester and he ordered scaramouche to investigate...and btw the mountain on leonards memory is not the dragonspine.

The questline Yaksha's wish suggests that there is still a Yaksha (Bosacius) that exists out there which could be linked to the unknown Yaksha! The lore book "Yakshas: The Guardian Adepti" also seems to suggest there is a missing Yaksha out there. The questline nameless treasure also reference 3 adepti who helped Zhongli seal away Azdaha. However the third adeptus figure was disfigured and although it's not directly stated I believe that it could be linked to the unknown Yaksha (note: however this could also reference Xiao). Hope that helps! Personally, I think that the unknown Yaksha is dead. In Xiao's cutscene from his story quest, there's a part that shows the electro yaksha and the narrator says that one of the Yaksha succumbed to darkness. This is probably referencing when the Abyssal monsters invaded. Also sorry super long response haha

Personally I believe that the meteorite was the traveler(s) after the fight with the unknown god which caused one of them to go into a coma from coming in contact with the dangerous ores while the other didnt come in contact with the danegrous ores and was around to witness kh'anreiah's (i think I misspelt it) demise, and went through the same events as the other twin but earlier on, and later realised that there was something else to fight for which lead to them leading the abyss.

Whenever a mystery about Liyue crops up I just wonder why don't we just ask Zhongli? Because even books are not that accurate to history. The meteorite may be one of the fruits of the Irminsul tree. Or a living being. Why it was so big though makes little sense to me.
After watch your great video. Im thinking that shenhe demo in qingxu pool mention the demonic activity is omen of impending disaster. I think this is why lisha territory was surrounded by so many abyss mages since it was near the chasm.

I also think to a certain degree that the heavy Fatui presence also seems to suggest that they might be looking into the meteorite or something. But that could also easily be explained by Dottore's ruin guard factory which is nearby.
@@BitSharkGames Yes there is no abyss orders in dunyu ruins since its dottore factory and lingju pass and qingxu pool full of abyss order camp. Its a little bit like alliance 🤣, im looking forward tomorrow for 2.6 trailers.
Just started. And even tho it's basically anime breath of the wild in design, it's got better combat, and the land actually looks a lot better. (Breath of the wild feels too barren) Just got to Monstadt. Can't wait to see the world open up
I didn't know about the artifacts but that would make sense considering everything that transpired at the Chasm. If that's the case, I'm glad we're getting more lore on the Yaksha's :D
you were right until you said they were at war with the abyss. the war in the chasm was between the gods and kaanrieah but you made this before they confirmed it in game
It was Khaenri'ah but it's heavily suggested that abyss corrupted creatures were the primary forces that engulfed Teyvat during the Cataclysm. Have a couple theories I'm working on regarding the chasm's events

Thank you for the clarification on the memories! As for the image I used. I know the mountain is Pilos peak but just used Dragon spine as a visual!
