Next time, maybe, on my 22 visit. I'd love to hear your comments about my favorite restaurant in Funchal:- Casal Da Penha
Try the avocado 🥑 egg 🍳 sandwich on sourdough 🍞 bread @ Arbor Food & Coffee ☕️. Absolutely Delicious 🤤 also it doesn’t hurt being in a garden surrounded by birds 🐦 singing 🎶.

Great video Joe. Omg that octopus dish looked amazing!! The rice was giving risotto vibes and that octopus looked perfectly cooked. I’m always kinda hesitant about ordering octopus because if it’s cooked wrong it’s so disappointing.
Very good execution of traditional portuguese food 👌I would only say that maybe the Duck Bola de Berlin is a bit too creative 😂Need to try this restaurant when I travel Madeira :)
By the way, as another Historical appointment, "Peixinhos da horta" is what gave rise to Tempura. Tempura is a derived name from tempero, that means seasoning. It was introduced in Japan probably in the Portuguese founded city of Nagasaki.

well... that is a struggle in Madeira! Horta is good. Others are popping up, perhaps I will make a video on veggie / vegan options
