You'll have to do a reading vlog for House of Leaves, it's such a bizarre book (not in a bad way). I tried reading it back when I was in high school but wound up putting it aside because it felt like too much work to get through lol, I plan on revisiting it soon. So glad you're back tho, you have so many great picks in this haul!
Haha consider it DONE! I was already thinking about vlogging my journey reading it. Your feelings on the book is basically EVERYONE’S feelings that I talked to and I’m….concerned lol. Concerned that I will not finish it haha. I might even start it this week just to give myself more time
Girl, welcome back!! Such a great haul of books! There are several of these I've read and several that are on my TBR. I think you'll really love The Ocean at the End of the Lane. Excited to see your vlog for Final Girls!! Wanted to ask, have you watched Fearstreet on Netflix yet? I watched the first one, and boy howdy, it was wayyyy more intense than I expected it to be.
HEY HEYYYYY! Thank you!!! I think I might have to read The Ocean at the End of the Lane soon! Everyone seems to enjoy it! I did! Well, I still need to finish the last one! I enjoyed the first two! They are definitely way more gory than I was expecting haha. I was genuinely surprised at that element!
Welcome back! Yay!! What a great haul. Let me give you my thoughts on House Of Leaves. I'm in the rare "didnt love it, didn't hate it" group. It was good, it was, and I'm glad I read it and I will re-read it at some point. However, I saw reviews saying it it the scariest book ever. Absolutely not. I'm telling you because I read the whole book waiting and waiting for the life changing horror. Dont be intimidated by the book though. I read it in a few days and can't wait to hear your opinion and see your reading vlog, if you end up doing that.
Thank you so much for telling me your thoughts on this! I had a feeling it wasn’t going to be “life changing horror”! It seems a little experimental in writing so that should be interesting! I’m definitely gonna do a reading Vlog on it! Also, it’s lovely to talk to you again!
@@cupofjae yay i cant wait to watch it! You really fly through some parts because there's barely anything on a lot of pages. So good to talk to you again too, so glad you're back!
Yesss!!! I just finished Ito's "Venus In The Blind Spot", and just started "Remina"... I would say I highly recommend them, but they kinda recommend themselves, right? In the same vein, if you want to grow your love of Neil Gaiman, do yourself a solid and read "The Sandman" graphic novels. Imho, they are the *best* of all time!
Oh my gosh thank you for these recommendations!!! I’ve heard so many good things about The Sandman!!! Definitely need to just go ahead and grab a copy already haha
I love that lip color!! Welcome back spooky Queen!
Thank you friend!! 🧡🧡🧡🧡
glad you're back I've been re-watching all you're old videos I'm very excited to check out the tea shop
You are so sweet! Thank you so much!! 🧡🧡🧡

House of leaves is insane, you either love it or hate it
AHHHH that makes me so nervous haha. I hope I’m in the ‘love it’ camp!
I wanted to love The Midnight Library so munch but I just...didn't 😕 I do want to read several of these books though!
I can absolutely understand that. It’s not for everyone and there were moments where I wondered where all the hype was coming from
