It's nice to hear a piece of Czech music blended with steel guitar. Truly a Czech-American original one. Proud to be a Czech.

I was raised in a town named after the first Czechoslovakian President. Masaryktown, Florida is the name and even though there aren't many Slovaks and Czechs left, many of us appreciate and are proud to be from the heritage.

I grew up in Central Texas in a Czech town, got to hear This style of music every weekend and at many weddings. Great memories of Better Years! ..wished my dad and grandmother would've taught me Czech language.. Still want to learn --no one around this place, maybe some online course..?

I grew up my whole life not knowing my grandmother was Czech, her maiden name was Vopat, which I guess is a Czech name according to Google. I know next to nothing about Czechia, I always assumed that part of my family was German due to my grandfather being German, and my grandmother dying when I was young. Honestly had no idea. So I guess I’m a quarter Czech, that’s a good enough piece that I should learn more. Where should I start?

Unfortunately, I’m not sure when my grandmothers family arrived in America. I know my grandfather arrived at the beginning of the 20th century, from the interior of Germany somewhere. They met and married in Illinois, which I know has a decent sized Czech diaspora. From what I remember, my grandmother couldn’t speak Czech fluently but understood a good piece of it.

"Is Czechia Russian ?" a to nezmiňuji že si nás pletou s Čečnou. Vysoké počty bezdomovců, uživatelů drog a ghetto měst. Vysoká kriminalita kterou často doprovází střelná zbraň. Nebudu sem tahat Vietnam, možná můžu zmínit i to malé oopsie jak omylem přenechali Talibanu tolik vybavení, že nyní má Teroristická organizace více vojenského materiálu jak pár zemí evropy dohromady. Vysoká obéznost a nízká kvalita jídla kterou kvůli penězum neřeší a obcházejí zákony = velké % populace morbidně obézní.
