This is really news for disc and I can't wait for these changes to go live. Already been feeling the disc hate while doing heroics which is unfortunate as people always seem to have such a low opinion of what I think is the most fun healer. I wish you a happy belated birthday and hope you have an awesome birthday weekend! Thanks again for all your updates and guides!
new to watching your videos and i really love them, this will be the first time in like 15 years my internet will actually be worthy of being able to heal/caster class. these videos have helped me an insane amount of understanding priest and m+ healing. i am still struggling on the understanding of raid healing. if you could make a new video on raid healing, maybe not mythic healing level, but a heroic guide. thanks so much for your videos tho!
The changes are good but it's not enough both for priest and in general (even for DPS the arcane nerfs are so tame they are doing +50% DPS at the moment hello). I just want to see every spec with a decent reason to choose between both of their hero spec that's all I'm asking. Too many specs have one of their hero tree that is either way undertuned or just poorly designed for their spec because it was built for the other. It's the one big new thing of the expansion and it's not polished. Blizzard knows that players are abandoning some specs and hero talents completely they have the numbers. Don't tell me that more than 5% of Mistweavers picked Master of Harmony I just won't believe it.
Good to see Disc getting a little love, especially using a lever that targets M+ and leaves raid alone. More of that philosophy, please. Thanks for the update!
The critical healing fix was that critical atonement healing in 5 man content was only getting the 50% increase (same as raid) and not the 70% (now 100%) increase. Small overall but was still hitting discs performance in 5 man content.
Leveled both resto shammy and druid, but having more fun with shammy. Looks like it actually heals someting. While on druid it feels like the bars are not really moving... Swiftmend feels aweful... resto druid was my main in DF, but if they keep it like this, shammy will be my new main in TWW
For resto shaman if you use the Farseer talents you spawn an ancestor with NS. But if instantly consumed it the ancestor wouldn't cast anything. You had to wait like 0.5 sec. Also fixed, but not mentioned.
I feel like what Disc priest lacks are useful panic buttons. I feel like it'd become a much less punishing spec to play if Pain suppression and Rapture were better. Like say Pain suppression gets both of those talents beneath it in the tree (that now is a choice node) and maybe Rapture just being "put two extrapower PW: Shield + atonement on your two lowest health party members" instead, with a reduced cooldown. And maybe some way to spread Renew around, like Holy priest can? Maybe if you Penance a target with Renew you spread it around?
I know this is random, but do you think Sanctuary being baseline would help the disc problem at all? I miss BFA Disc and think about it often. Thanks! Love your videos.
Im kinda supried thy didnt make the cdr telent for squid didnt get chengs to flat cdr like the other simular things that other specs had like frost dk ice cap
Jack I would love for you to make a talent build to play only with "light and shields" I know it would not be the most optimal for M+ or RAID but it would be rather to fulfil the lore of the oracle class since it does not feel good invoking evil of the void or spells of the void
That's what I've been trying out actually by going ham on the light side picking "Aegis of wrath" with "weal and woe", you can have some really massive shields. We'll have to see how it will feel on an actual m+ but I do think this "light build" has some potential
Fuckin' knew priest was gonna get early buffs. Folks did not believe me in the comments. Now for the 2nd half of my prediction: early nerfs for Shammy.
On aug 29th there was a hotfix that decreased pres healing and damage. Namely they removed the interactions of CoY and lifespark with copied living flames from leaping flames. Which means that you can't do fire breath into a lifespark 5 LFs for a burst of AoE damage, and also you can't do that in ST for the additional flames to heal your team ( a niche tech but that had its uses). That also translates to about 20% less healing on what was expected to be the go to way to consume echo ramps when burst healing was needed. Just wanted to point out that for pres tuning has happened, albeit in a roundabout way
I dont understand why voidweaver would be the way to go in m+. The spec only works in 8 sec window on a 22 sec cd. And if you have to move in that 8 sec window you wont do any healing. Outside of that window voidweaver got nothing on oracle.
Biggest things that kill you in keys is burst damage on boss fights/trash and voidweaver helps the most with that at a high key level. Oracle is significantly better with the change and while it grants very good atone uptime, its noticably lower atone output than VW. So Oracle is great for consistent -mid/low healing while VW is stronger for burst damage
@@AutomaticJak Well i guess voidweaver will be spec that will separate good (or bad) players from the great sinc mind blast is no longer throw it how you like spell but a most important cd. Throw it out in the wrong time and you got nothing to help you fix your mistake. Throw it out when you should and everyone lives. Atleast Oracle got more flexibility but i guess higher m+ damage will overpower it sooner or later and even stuff like 2x insta Radiance, 3x dark reprimand or shield PoM spam wont help it to survive burst damage.
Praise the light
I hit 80 on my druid, healed a couple dungeons and immediately rerolled to shaman. Rdruid feels SO BAD to play.
Happy Birthday! Here’s to hoping the void summoner changes come soon! Be nice to have a definite raid vs m+ option that shines in its respective area.
Happy birthday!!! We love the buffs

Ah they were just waiting for your birthday, got it. Thanks Jak
Please Please Please do more mythic+ guides for all the healer classes :D! Love how you explain things
Woohoo! Nearly playable now in M+ 😏😏

the "yaaay" at the end of the video XD
LOL I THOUGHT I EDITED THAT OUT
maybe u concider to put that on all of the videos like outro XD
@@AutomaticJak It's a reward for all the people who stayed to the end and did not close the vid at the outro! Like a post-credit scene!
Just make Void Blast give double Cooldown reduction on Bender, so we blast that during Rift windows and we have like a 45 sec cd
At least every other Bender then
Happy Birthday! It's good to see disc get some buffs, it was needed. Keeping my fingers crossed they keep them coming.

Happy birthday mate!! Ty for all ya work
Now thats a birthday suprise! Happy birthday healing meister

Happy birthday! What good news!
Happy birthday! Thank you for guide always!
Thank you! 😃
Engulf buff is actually for pres and dev, so there was one more healer change :)

how about a blend with holy priest ? adding a Serenity/Sanctify on disc ?
Thanx for making hero talents of rdruid great and meaningful. Ah wait. That was a dream. ._. Well thanx for the pvp buff. kekw
Good buffs for priest, but I'd rather they extended the Atonement buff rather than the healing :P
Happy birthday bro 🎂!!
i like it when one passive on diszi 25% more shield and 40% more dmg is and druid got 4% more selfheal XD
Happy birthday jak
Preservation already got its nerf with the bug fix. It's a massive hit to their HPS, your living flames are doing 1/3rd the healing they were doing.
"Massive hit to their hps" I haven't noticed anything, stop spreading disinfo
Happy 47th birthday! 🐹
Holy got a Prayer of Mending buff 65% in PVP
why not just let us have mindbender as unholy does have his ghoul :D tune down the healing and damage a little but we dont have to worry anymore
Happy bday, this is a good gift

Do you think the buff to voidweaver SPriest relevant enough to compete with Archon?
I've been trying to find the link you mentioned for the disc oracle build is it up yet?
It’s in my hero talent page on wowhead

LETS GOOOO
Well, guess I was wrong about the timing of the buff

Is there a should you play resto druid video coming? 😅
happy birthday!
I do not envy any of disc priests on m+ this season. I recently swapped to R shaman after years where some of disc problems were ignored completely.
It's still not enough. Other's still have a bit better choices and output.
Thanks!
Thank you so much!
Feliz Cumpleaños Jak! My bd was on the 27th! So cool that we're so close.
🎉happy birthday
