  • The SE Bushwhacker camper gathering gave us the opportunity to tour and review some amazing teardrop trailers. I couldn't believe the mods and rebuilds that people were able to do to their Free Solo and Bushwhacker campers. Check out Andy's Bushwhacker trailer mods for some inspiration!

    I always enjoy your videos. I have a similar shower unit (Quick-en-suite). I cut the back panel out and can now access it from inside. It’s my favorite addition to my camper.

    Bryan here, I watched your Hiker series multiple times and I ordered a Midrange at the end of May . I just picked it up and camped in the mountains of NC . I watched your videos on power and got my own battery which is a Odyssey Extreme group 31 deep cycle AGM TPPL battery. It is awesome. It is able to cycle down lower than a normal AGM. I didn’t get solar from Hiker, a modest solar panel should work well. I enjoy watching , thanks for the great content .

    Hey Brian. Thanks for another great video. Always love seeing the different possible modifications for the bushwhackers. Did you happen to get the mod information on the front tongue box and double propane?

      Thanks for watching! Heres a propane mount. I believe he got the tongue box at tractor supply or harbor freight.... I couldn't link

    I like the bayonet-style caps for ac venting on the roof. Wonder how that works in the rain though? Could be easy enough to pop elbows on it and make a small run to get under the solar panels. Great stuff. I like his little BougeRV battery/shunt/controller setup too!

    • @DIYOutdoorLife
      @DIYOutdoorLife  Рік тому +1

      I wondered about that too, I think the water runs right down through where the condensation drains. After looking at it, I didn't think he was concerned about water getting in there because it comes down onto the pan. Either way, elbows would be good.
      Hope you're well, any cracker docking lately?

      @@DIYOutdoorLife That's cool (hah!) if it goes right to the pan.
