No way???? Are we actually finally going to see ghormans in live action and does that hopefully mean (if this is the event I'm thinking of) Tarkin will be there, maybe we won't see his face but hear about him and at least see his shuttle crushing protesters????? I'm so excited
Apart from the amazing storytelling in Andor, what I most love about it is the scope. It feels like a real world and it feels big. Something about the Mandalorian usually feels small, and especially with Ahsoka it all felt like a 'room' instead of a planet.
Great video as always I'm really hyped for more Andor and the new series starts on my Birthday next year!. What a great Birthday present!. I'm optimistic for Skeleton Crew as well, things are looking up for Star Wars.
I like the title, The Mandalorian and Grogu kind of has an old spaghetti western tome. Great coverage on Andor, Meg. I'm looking forward to the second season.
Some characters in Andor season 2, we could see Agent Kallus and Brom Titus, we notice that Andor could be Rebels Path, hopefully Cody, Bly, Sinker, Omega and 3 clone force 99 members is likely cameos in this show.
SPOILER ALERT! . . . I think that TBB epilogue takes place AFTER „Andor” and „Rebels”, so I doubt Omega will be shown in „Andor”. That epilogue probably takes place after „A New Hope” or very shortly before, but still after „Andor”. So during „Andor” plot Omega is still on Pabu, likely.
Yeah it looks good. Like you this is the thing in Star Wars i’ve most been looking forward to and it’s so nice that - for once - i’m not dreading what they might do with canon or characters, i completely trust and have faith in Tony Gilroy.
I’m really looking forward to all of the upcoming projects. I hope Andor s2 is as good as the first season and the Mandorian and Grogu helps to get that part of the franchise back on track. I didn’t dislike s3 as much as many fans did, but I do think there are a few things that need to be reset and addressed. I’m so glad Pedro and Sigorney Weaver are confirmed. I really hope the movie’s good. O
Rogue One is one of my favorite Star Wars movies but I wasn’t really excited when they announced Andor. I was in the hospital for a week when it dropped and I absolutely loved it. It really helped my week in the hospital much easier than it could have been. I am so pumped for season two. Definitely my most anticipated SW project coming out.
Hi Meg awesome video, Andor looks amazing, really mega exited about it, Skelton Crew looks great aswell, I pray that Mando and Grogu is amazing to, thank you SWM
3:56 If that's true (which it probably is) that's really fun. Cause we first see phoinex squadron encounter them in S3. And I'm very happy to hear range troopers are coming back. However I keep remembering they had the Second Sister have a tie interceptor in Fallen Order. Which absolutely doesn't make any sense. It's not a prototype, the timeline doesn't make sense for that. Then again it's just a game thing, like how they had Phase 1 purge troopers in Survivor which makes no sense.
I have so much anticipation with Andor season 2 it nearly comes close to my anticipation for Empire Strikes Back in 1980. Can’t wait. Watch season one then season 2 after it is finished Rogue One, then the Star Wars trilogy. Yeah. I feel like I am 14 again. May the force be with you.
Wow! So glad to know that Bix will get a big character ark, she deserves it! Hope she will contribute to the Rebellion and avenge herself as well as Salman Paak and others unnamed victims of the Empire.
Just hope they stick to the brilliant world-building, story and character development and don’t resort to a catalogue of fan-service. Andor is the best SW media I’ve ever seen BECAUSE it dared to venture beyond the recent trends, yet felt familiar to the original films, while being more ‘grown-up’. This is the most important thing for me. Don’t sell-out, Tony!
Not much of a teaser, however it is said the show will cover a four year period and covering a few days within those time periods split over 12 episodes leading up to the start of Rogue one, simply cannot wait for April to come.
I like the new show name of The Mandalorian and Grogu as long as it goes in a direction of new adventures of seasons and seeing the development of Grogu and hopefully seeing if he actually grows up some in height. You can’t expect to much height though because of how he ages.
I'm excited for Andor. I don't how I feel about the speculation of Cassian killing Luthan, rather than just having him be impacted by his death. I suppose this could be what sets him against Mon Mothma, which we see in Rouge 1. It would be awesome to see Omega as a rebel pilot, if she can be fit into the plot naturally. "Return of the Jedi" was originally going to be "Revenge of the Jedi" until about a year before the release. So "The Mandalorian and Grogu" may still be changed. Even if it doesn't, I'll still go see it.
To be brutally honest, I need to sit down and watch all of S1. I know it is a wildly popular show but it came out during a very busy time of the year for me so I only got about 3 episodes in and ended up setting it aside. I guess i could binge watch it over a few days and be ready for S2. I actually do that anyway with all of these different streaming series. When there is a new season scheduled I will watch all of the previous seasons before the new one releases.
@@pcb462 If by 'Star Wars haters' you mean people who don't just accept whatever crap slop is served with the Star Wars brand slapped across it... people who actually expect those in charge to know and respectfully develop the IP... yeah I guess I'm a 'Star Wars Hater' because I love Star Wars and I'm sick of how it has been very largely mismanaged. If you don't think it's been mismanaged... if you believe it's been doing great, you really haven't been paying attention.
Something traumatic will have to happen with Mon, to have her turn her back on her family, and her daughter in particular. I do think Luthan will be betrayed, but how will that motivate Cassian?
I would love for it to be a family-wide ruse, that her husband and daughter are in on it and that the problems with her husband are a ruse to throw off the Empire.
Please god, I hope this does not overlap with the Rebels crew - they don't need to touch any other storylines except that which led to Rogue One and TOS (even though Mon is in Rebels). Rebels is so far beneath Andor. They can rope that into the other kids shows, like Skeleton crew or whatnot.
If Andor has to kill Luthen, it could possibly be Luthen's (final) sacrifice, and it would also cement Andor's ideology and complete his doctrine. There would also be some kind of poetic symmetry to it -- between Luthen's and Andor's later sacrifice. A poetic device that Lucas was also fond of.
Andor is a piece of art and anyone who says otherwise is willfully shooting themselves in the foot. SW isn't a genre, it’s a universe and many different genres, themes, characters, and stories have yet to be discovered in that universe. If someone wants the 'feel' of the old movies there is good news, the old movies still exist, so literally go watch them again. As horrendous as some of the Last Jedi was I have grown to appreciate that Rian was also trying to make something new, his execution in some of that 'newness' was very questionable but the stuff that worked really worked. This misguided unconscious consensus of SW fans that we need to ‘recapture’ those feelings from the first films has led to an over saturation of bad SW trying to live up to something it shouldn’t even need to. Every SW project doesn’t need the same themes, characters, and feeling as the OG trilogy, that'd get repetitive and very boring. Most new projects have virtually become parodies of the source material where nothing is left but references cameos, and generic mic-drop lines that fit in any situation. I love Andor not just because it is full of heart, nuance, and complex storytelling in a thematically dark setting but also because of what it represents: innovation of SW and a new hope that future SW projects don't have to be self referential, sloppily written, poorly executed, mass produced projects rather than pieces of art that stand on their own merit. Disneys and the fans problem has been thinking that SW is a genre and everything must fit into very confined rules. If someone thinks Andor is too boring they need to consider spending less time feeding their dopamine receptors with stuff like Tik Tok and take the time to pay attention to what’s happening between action sequences. They’ll realize that that there is a lot of nuance and character work happening, it is a masterclass of writing and direction. If someone thinks Andor doesn't feel like SW they need to reframe how they understand the IP, it is not a genre of itself. The themes, characters, settings, sounds, textures, virtually everything is straight out of the Lucas doctrine and what story he was trying to tell. If someone thinks Andor stands shoulder to shoulder on equal footing as Obi Wan, Ahsoka, or Boba Fett they need to try and summarize one of those shows and try to summarize Andor, the difficulty to do so for Andor succinctly is indicative of the complex level of detail and care. Andor is lightyears ahead of those shows in virtually every cinema or storytelling criteria. Anyone who loves Andor should be promoting it and recommending it to everyone they know. Systems either change or die and there is only one way out of this SW slump of bad media.
Wish the garbage compactor that was The Acolyte had never happened, should have been Mando S4 setting up the movie still 2 years away that desperately needs a real title. Andor S2 is going to be a super charged rocket, calendar updated, thank you Meg!
I am getting so excited to see the new Star Wars series Star Wars Skeleton Crew and every day is going by so fast, I feel like it will be coming out on Disney Plus, before we even know it.
How are you feeling about the new ANDOR footage? 🔥
P.S. Don't miss my recent Vader fan fiction: ua-cam.com/video/3IaT25M2gF4/v-deo.html
I felt more energy in your voice it was a little less botty so now i will subscribe
Andor season 1 was amazing, I am HYPE for season 2 😤😆😆
The new footage looks good. I'm so looking forward to Season 2.
Yeah - really need Season 2. Thanks Meg.
With Skeleton Crew and Andor coming up, the next 6 months looks to be very good for Star Wars. I aim to enjoy every millisecond of it.
1:00 Meg, that shot was filmed at Pinewood Studios, London. My Dad worked as an extra in these scenes as a Ghorman protestor 😊
No way???? Are we actually finally going to see ghormans in live action and does that hopefully mean (if this is the event I'm thinking of) Tarkin will be there, maybe we won't see his face but hear about him and at least see his shuttle crushing protesters????? I'm so excited

I want to see your dad’s NDA. 😊

I’m glad to be getting more Star Wars content. I do hope Bix and Will make it through this.
I’m sure they will. Would make for a cool lost in space story, even though it looks like skeleton crew looks like it will be
Soooo hyped. Havn't been this excited in a couple yrs
Oh I am so looking forward to April 2025. I love all the first looks. So happy!!!!!
Great reaction. I’m very excited for Bix’s arc this season, although it isn’t likely to end well. Hope we get a full length teaser trailer soon.
Great video as always I'm really hyped for more Andor and the new series starts on my Birthday next year!. What a great Birthday present!. I'm optimistic for Skeleton Crew as well, things are looking up for Star Wars.
PEAK INCOMING
All I can say is I Can't wait let's go Let's Go. May the Force be with you Star Wars Meg.😀
Bix's actress is so beautiful 😅 im stoked about Andor!!
ill second that
@daniellebcooper7160 cheers 🥂
I like the title, The Mandalorian and Grogu kind of has an old spaghetti western tome. Great coverage on Andor, Meg. I'm looking forward to the second season.
I think Luthian gets outted as a jedi and gets delt with in a way to hide and protect everyone else.

It’s just a great time to be a Star Wars fan. We had so many series back to back to back. May the force be with us!
Was so excited when i saw clips of Andor S2 in the video . . i hope they give is a sizzle reel or trailer soon, cannot wait any longer
I'm so hyped

Its tie avenger, not interceptor
It's very entertaining of course

If Andor Season 2 is a massive success... can Kennedy finally retire?

Andor season 2 the Rebellion Strikes back. Nothing new, nothing different. Just nostalgia. And no Jedi.
LoL
Honestly, I can live without Ashoka season 2.
BORING I HATE THIS SHOW AND THIS ENITRE DISNEY LINE ONLY MON MOTHMA HER ACTING IS AWESOME
Dave creative-less Filoni: Yeah, it’s called Mandalorian and Grogu rotfl lmao
Dude, call it Star Wars Clan of Two 🙄
It was heavily implied in season 1 that Bix is force sensitive, and it was completely ignored by everyone.... I could see where this goes.
Like how was that implied?! This is the most ridiculous thing I've heard in a very long time!
The only good star wars show among crapshits
Star Wars is back. Now can Disney please delete the sequels and that other tthing from earlier this year.
I got zero interest
Bix is force sensitive.
Nope. But someone else is.
I watched 0 minutes of Andor season 1 and i will watch 0 minutes of season 2.
Good luck
Kind of a strange decision considering you’re subscribed to the Critical Drinker who praised the show.
