Noctua is reknown for their highly efficient, yet silent CPU coolers. This video shows yet another aspect of them: simplicity of installation. AIO coolers and RGB fans may have glitz to them but they make the life quite complicated with all the cables, with the need for additional USB 2.0 hubs and things like that. This Noctua works perfectly and does its job flawlessly with just one connection cable ! And that is something to cherish !

So I'm upgrading some parts in my PC, Mobo, CPU and Cooling system. I got the 14th Gen i7 with 14th Gen Asus Mobo. Would this be great cooling option for that you think? I'm going back and forth for coolers I really don't know what to get

Due to me using a smaller case, I opted for this.
My 5600X practically never leaves the mid 60s under most cases. Occasionally if it's really taxed for something, you can hear the fan pick up a little as the CPU gets to the upper 60s.

Great review! Not sure how I missed it! Been using this cooler for a while myself and shockingly it compares equally to a 240mm AIO.

So i have had this cooler for a while and i can't seem to get the temps down. I'm using a 7700x in a "be quiet! Silent Base 601" case with 2 140mm fans.
Hunt showdown and Marvel rivals takes my temp up to 90-95 C. I just reaplied new paste from noctua and made sure the screws were tightened correctly.
I have a set fan curve and the fans go 100% at 85c but the temp do go over 95 after a few minutes playing.
The fans are mounted like in the video. What could be the problem?

@@essence7779 Yes. I have had it at around 5.1ghz (1.5v+) with the temps around 85*C.
Currently at 4.8ghz (1.29v-ish) and temps are usually around 60*C

Nobody is talking about if the silicon screws still make noctua fans quieter still even witht the rubber corners. I guess we'll just hsve to find out.

Nice review since I am in the market for a CPU cooler for my 14700K build, but I think your tongue slipped, when you said it's an all in one cooler.

@@DaudasVlr yeah solid option for i7. Temps while gaming are usually in the high 60's low 70's running the fans no faster than 1600rpm which is still quiet.

Quiet ok, but cooler is bad on AM5 sorry. On Cyberpynk, 5 to 7°C higher than my Peerless for 3x the price of the Peerless... the only thing to keep is the fans so...
