I see people are cheering for a bill that will eventually be corrupt, it's just a stepping stone , there needs to be some ground rules of definition to assist .
A sensible response. I am so glad that i don't have to stockpile medication in case i ever need to. I have counselled relatives of terminally ill patients where they have to live with the memory of their loved ones drowning in their saliva. That has to stop.
Law isn’t failing people. Many pharmaceuticals are failing people including causing adverse side effects which often include potential suicidal effects. Our NHS is failing people through not allowing proper integration of Complementary Therapies including massage, healing, reflexology, homeopathy and properly trained acupuncture. Many Politicians are failing people in many ways including those who voted in favour if this Bill.
It has gone so well in other countries where this has happened. Particularly well in the Netherlands, who legalized involuntary euthanasia for children under 12 in 2023.
Even if you dont agree, surely denying someone the option is wrong. As long as no one is forced or coerced, then whats wrong the allowing peoole a choice?
They already had that choice but now they do not. This only empowers the state and takes away powers that the individual already had. Brain dead you death pushers are.
Tulip Siddiq(MP) is also involved in the robbery of money in Bangladesh, so it is necessary to investigate how the money is transferred in the name of someone else or the name of her husband friend or family friend. Perhaps a rich Bangladeshi businessman living in London has everything done in his name and he has received high-status privileges in Bangladesh and should be brought under the law. She swindled money in London in the name of a trusted person and did it all out of reach. Anyway, these should be brought under the law! Everyone should remember that no one is above the law.
'We will all be involved if we make this change' absolute nonsense - it is the person using their freedom to end their life to spare pain, no one else has a right to be involved with that.
Easy solution - amend the law to make it clear those who benefit from those who end their lives will automatically be investigated to ensure it is not the case.
@@personalaccount4850 this will very much be part of the law. They’re making it very clear that coercive control over someone’s death will be met with a prison sentence.
Oh they know that, but are pretending not to. These death pushers might act innocent and pretend they are being kind, but they know what devious, greedy, snakes in the grass they are.
You’re assuming that everyone using this bill will be old. People get chronically ill at all ages. If they’re over eighteen they’re now given this option. Stop being ridiculous. X

Disgusting way to talk. If you get very sick your relatives will be pushing you to take the jab.
This is disgusting.

Assisted dying should absolutely not be under the power of the life saving nhs.

Health is adversely influenced by not being warm enough. Yet labour have restricted warmth for the elderly.

Why don’t we just implement measures regarding coercion?
Like what? The thing about coercion is it is very hard to prove especially when the frail and vulnerable are being coerced.
Cohersion is practiced by medical practioners to the patient and family members now.
People are coerced all of the time. People get cancer treatment for their families sake very often. Nothing will ever be perfect.

No to assisted

Its her choice.
It depends entirely on what your mother wants. However, it will take a while before assisted dying is actually accessible by the public.
@ssmaamam it is also possible thay his mother will go away naturally before the decision is taken haha
From your respective its all about what you want of your mum not what she wants and that's selfish.. Has anyone asked her what she wants?
