Another great show coach, but I only disagree with you on one issue, I think you have to start 2 rookies this year on defence….i say this because you will have to do it this year or next year. And next year you’re going to be one year closer to the playoffs and whether you want to start two rookies that year, and you still might have to, if Engstrom, plays very well…I’d rather bite the bullet this year know knowing we want to improve but like you, we are not playoff team yet….plus like you I want to get him off the RD… so if you want to play Matheson it with Maiioux or Reinbacher…or you get Matheson or play his off side with Guhle, Then Mailloux with Xhekaj, and Hutson and Savard with Barron as #7

We move Dvorak, slot newhook as 3rd line center then Roy slots in on 3rd line with the ability to move up when injuries will happen

I have no problem with all 3 defenceman, you have the 2 veterans, Hudson and maybe maujou,if rinbacker impresses why not, put all 3 in,let's see before we have opinions,

I don't know so much about Detroit, but Buffalo has been stacking up on talent for so long, they are goind to become a great team. Ottawa has so much elite prospects, it is outright scary. Obviously these two teams will dominate the habs in the coming years unless the Habs pick more talent at the next draft. This is why I don't want them making the playoffs next year.

You don't know so much about any of these clubs it seems.. Didn't you know the habs had a much better prospect base than any of them? Buffalo could make a shift if they finally get vets back but I have no hope in the Senators or Detroit in a year or 2 vs the Habs, not with the draft we just had!

@@djclovissio2338 I'm no expert but Corey Pornman is. He did a ranking of all U- 23 NHL prospects and players: Tim Stutzle (Ottawa) #2, Carter Yakemchuck (Ottawa) #10, Jake Sanderson (Ottawa) #13. Slafkofski comes in at #15 and is the highest Habs player on this list. Well, we all love Slaf and think he is a stud, but bare in mind that there are three Ottawa players better than him... I haven't mentioned Buffalo players
