Facts Dee. I hate when ppl say they don’t need it. It’s a personal choice and a form of expression. It’s literal art. Both men and women have been wearing it for centuries
It is art, I also don’t like how it’s also normalised to use it to hide and avoid insecurities instead of getting used to them and getting to love yourself
I’m 27. When I was 15, there were 2 girls who started wearing makeup early and they were literally ghosts by age 15; their youthfulness was all gone. When I saw them I said I would never wear makeup. Fast forward, I just started trying to learn for the first time, a couple months ago just so that I could go to a freaking ball. It’s too much work so I learned just enough for the balls and that’s it😂 so I wear makeup 2x a year lol
I don't ever put on a full face, it just feels like too much. I'll make my eyebrows more defined if I want and throw on some cool winged eyeliner and mascara w clear lip gloss. That's my go-to, simple but easy to take off later
I'm 25, and I've kept makeup at arm's length, even when I was a teenager. It just seems like unnecessary stress for the most part. Sometimes I'm tempted to try doing a full beat on my face just out of curiosity, but ik that if I do it, I'll probably end up making a habit out of it and become dependent on it. Plus it's so convenient to just throw on a cute winged eyeliner with a little bit of lipstick and call it a day, and I get to prioritize the health of my skin more than anything else too.
I genuinely do not even notice most times. When I go out with friends, I'm always around women because women love gay men. They don't know that I like the gooch and the cooch but thats neither here nor there😂 But still, a woman's makeup is something I subconsciously ignore. Seeing women with makeup on for the first time, shocks me more than seeing them without makeup for the first time. Most times.
Hey, I don’t know if I understood it correctly (and if this is a respectful question) but are you saying that u are bi? If so, that’s really cool that u are so open about it, if not, hey it’s alright, my apologies. English isn’t my first language, by the way.
Her saying the lady in the wheel chair was fire, gave the same energy as Shawn Mendes saying “amazing” when the interviewer said she deals with anxiety🤣
Make has MANY uses and isn’t just for 1 thing. I hate how some people like these “sigma males” think women wear make up to look only pretty and attract men. Literally anyone who is into make up knows that it’s not only for that and also a form of Art expression.
Im 51 years old and its been DECADES since I've worn makeup. There werent so many options for Black women so alot of the makeup looked ashy or yellowish and didnt match my skin. I dont bother now because I'm used to NOT wearing it. The only thing I might do is wear a lip tint. But I ran out so I haven't thought about buying any. I have lip balm everywhere. I cant STAND dry ass lips.
To a man we appreciate natural beauty because too many times we’ve been deceived. but overall I like makeup as it enhances your beauty which I don’t mind but if you look like a completely different person without it then it’s a problem.
