We have stayed in KCB for the last 5 years and it's the greatest! Sparky's is the place to go!
KCB and Sparky's are great places!
The house we rented a few weeks ago, just on the other side of Vaca Cut, came with access to the Cabana Club on KCB. We spent a few afternoon's over there relaxing and it was very nice. Friendly people and great service all around!

One thing I like in Key Colony Beach is that it is located a bit away from that noisy highway.

Most of the City of Key Colony Beach is on Shelter Key, a small part of the city is on Fat Deer Key. It’s pretty much surrounded by the City of Marathon. (FYI, there is no island called “Marathon Key, in spite of what some realtors will tell you.). There is no mail delivery to houses, everyone rents a post office box. Lots of nosey busybodies in that city, it’s full of self-appointed neighborhood inspectors. The police don’t have a lot to do so they LOVE to write tickets. If you live in the city year round, you will come to hate vacation rentals.

Loved KCB! Sparks’s Landing has great food! Hope I can make it back there someday! Stayed at Gluntz Ocean Beach Hotel - wonderful place. Thanks for driving by it! Sad to hear the dive shop is gone. Maybe they moved elsewhere.

Hi guys. Is there one particular key or area that’s cheaper than the rest?
The lower Keys are generally a little less expensive than the other Keys. This includes Big Pine Key, Summerland Key, Sugarloaf Key, Cudjoe Key. Key Largo tends to have more properties that are small places for less money (mobile homes, condos, and small older homes).
