I recently got into the hobby. collecting lists, watching hours of content, falling down the rabbit hole trying to get a first game for my wife and I. Dog park was on the top of my list and I just learned that you two created the game through this video! I will be buying the game and hopefully it will be a great couples game when we get free time.
Thank you so much!! We're so excited. Azul is a great system and plays really well into the variations in all the new versions. Unmatched is a hit around here too. Thanks for watching!
Thank you for your excitement about Bark Avenue! Yes - That Time You Killed Me finally made it off the shelf and it is lovely. We'll have to check out Caper: Europe too! Thanks for watching!
Yasss I love this series! A lot of great choices that I’ve been itching to try, and you guys already know I love TM, especially Ares. Big hit with the wife and me. And of course…I’m there on 5/24 as soon as Bark Ave goes live! And again congrats on the upcoming parenthood! ❤❤❤
Thank you so much, Rob! Your kind words and support mean so much. We’re so excited for launch day! We thought of you when we included TM on this list. 🚀
Great list! There are several games here that I haven't played and now want to try! I think Paris is the one calling to me the most. I'm excited for your May 24th launch!
Second recommendation for Capers Europe!! We'll definitely have to check it out. Thanks for the recommendation! We love Blitzkrieg. Thanks for watching!
Aw congratulations on baby!! I keep hearing about Blitzkrieg--that definitely sounds fun, and the 20 minutes is definitely a selling point. So excited for you guys with the Kickstarter update--everything about it looks fabulous! TM will always be a top winner in our house--though I get my booty kicked 97.3% of the time--my boys are too good at it!
Thank you so much! ☺️☺️ yes, Blitzkrieg is a hit! Thanks for your kind words on the Kickstarter, we’re pumped! 🐶 also that’s awesome that your kids play TM with you. That’s the dream for this little girl!
Hi Vitor! Yes, we have tried Santorini - that’s another great abstract strategy game! It was entertaining but ultimately it wasn’t the best fit for us and took up quite a bit of shelf space, so we ended up passing it along. Definitely one I’d play again though, given the chance.
Hi Mandy! We try to feature a wide range of games on this channel (the Exit games and The Rocketeer are both $12-19 and Paris, Land vs. Sea, Shobu, and Unmatched are all under $29 (sometimes Amazon isn’t the cheapest option - it can fluctuate!) Other games I would recommend are Patchwork, Hive Pocket, and Jekyll vs. Hyde! In all, however, board games have sadly been hit hard by the pandemic and increased freight shipping costs and we’ve seen costs skyrocket. Unfortunately this is hitting the publishers as hard as it is hitting us and it’s hard to even get games onto the shelves right now. That said, check our first couple videos in the series and Games In Under 20 Minutes and Games You Can Bring to the Beach videos - lots of smaller box and more affordable options in those videos as well!!
Hey Kead! That’s a really tough one. I can answer my (Jonathan’s) top 6 favorite 2-player games I think. In no particular order: Everdell, 7 Wonders Duel, Hive Pocket, Viticulture, Paris la Cite de la Lumiere, Unmatched. Gosh that was hard to get it to 6! I love all of them still. This is just where I would start. Thanks for watching! ☺️
This is my favorite Board Game video series. I follow your recommendations with complete dedication. I would order The Rocketeer and Paris Right Away. I am also looking Forward to Bark Avenue. I just wanted to know the difference between Bark Avenue and Dog Park in detail. It would be great if you do a video on that.
Hi Pratik! Thanks so much for your kind words! We hope you enjoy the games. Bark Avenue shares only theme - mechanically it is a very different game. No different than two games about castles or dungeons. We will be posting design diaries and blog posts throughout the campaign - I hope those are fun to read and give you insight into the design process!!
It's 2023 and part FOUR of Best Board Games for Couples is LIVE with the latest two player hits! ua-cam.com/video/q6aEBOU7NxY/v-deo.html

Can’t wait to see your game on store shelves
14:00, Can I hear a "três"? It's sounds like a Portuguese word! Awesome!
I'm Brazilian and I'm loving to watch your videos!
Congratulations!
Yes! I was speaking Spanish but we love our Brazilian friends!! Thank you so much for watching ☺️☺️
Congrats on the coming little one! I absolutely love Azul! I wasn’t aware of the sequels. Unmatched is a series I’ve been dying to play.
Thank you so much!! We're so excited. Azul is a great system and plays really well into the variations in all the new versions. Unmatched is a hit around here too. Thanks for watching!
Can’t wait for Bark Avenue! Glad that you featured That Time You Killed Me this time! :D For two player, I’ve enjoyed Caper:Europe as of recent too

Thanks so much and thanks for watching! Paris is a delight. Glad you’re excited about Bark Avenue!! ☺️🐶
Congrats you two! I recently discover Schotten Totten and have been having a lot of fun with it, excellent 2 player game.
Thank you so much! We're so excited. Schotten Totten is a great game! We've had a lot of fun with that one :)
Blitzkrieg is great! You might want to try Capers Europe. We just had a great time playing it and it is lots of fun!
Second recommendation for Capers Europe!! We'll definitely have to check it out. Thanks for the recommendation! We love Blitzkrieg. Thanks for watching!
I Love TM, Blitzkrieg, Caesar, and Azul SP. Haven't tried the others.
I also will suggest Caper Europe.
Great games!!! We’ve heard Caper Europe a couple times, we’ll definitely have to check it out! Thanks for watching ☺️

Hey guys, congrats on the baby. You are awesome. You should give Spies and Lies a try.
Thanks so much!! ☺️ I haven’t heard of Spies and Lies, we’ll have to check it out!!
Decent taste 🙂 Try DVONN and Tintas also.
Thanks so much! We’ll be sure to check them out :) thanks for the recommendations!
Since you guys like chess-like games, have you guys tried Santorini?
Hi Vitor! Yes, we have tried Santorini - that’s another great abstract strategy game! It was entertaining but ultimately it wasn’t the best fit for us and took up quite a bit of shelf space, so we ended up passing it along. Definitely one I’d play again though, given the chance.
Have you guys tried play Chai the board game?
We’ve played demos of Chai and Chai for Two at conventions! It was fun, we don’t own it though. Really pretty artwork! :)
Have you guys ever played Sobek 2 players? I've heard it's a really good two player game that came out last year.
Hi Tina!! We saw a preview of it but have not played it yet. It did look like a lot of fun! We’ll certainly check it out!!! ☺️ thanks for watching!
Wish u guys do budget couple games that won't break bank

From the three videos, which are your all time favorites?

@@TerreDiceGames Thanks for the prompt response to my question.
I would definitely check the campaign once it’s live on kickstarter.☺️
