Obedience to parents, obedience to the Lord, and resisting the devil by staying away from the APPEARANCE even if evil She basically just said what you did. Obedience is the protection she speaks of. And in her text, when Delilah cut Sampson's hair, his ANOINTING WAS diminished, Man of God. Sampson was distracted by his lust for Delilah, and it AFFECTED his ANOINTING indeed. 😳
We need to read the ENTIRE word and not just cherry pick the Bible, beginning only what SOUNDS good to our ears. Or ANOINTING is OUR responsibility as much as it is God's. She is not saying protect the Holy Spirit. What she is saying that if we sin we lose the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit will not dwell in an unclean temple so if we fall in sin he will not stay. Regina the Bible does not teach us that the Holy Spirit will not dwell in an unclean temple. The Bible teaches us, that if we sin we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. If we confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. His Son cleanses us from all sin! It is the Holy Spirit that convicts us of sin and leads us to repentance!
