KATA TJUTA - THE OLGAS Episode 49

In this episode we spend a day checking out The Olgas. Only a short drive from Uluru. The valley of the winds hike is one not to be missed although hold onto everything loose or you'll lose it!!! The views throughout this hike are incredible. The 2nd hike we did for the day and the smaller of the 2 is also well worth the walk to Walpa Gorge. This is our last episode for 2022. Thanks Ron. It was a bit of a worry there for a while! Thank god Tony had the cable from the solar that was for the rooftop tent in the car otherwise I think we’d still be there!!

We flew over the Olgas at 42000 feet couple of times on our holidays to Europe and they looked spectacular then so to see them up close was great. Thanks again for all your hard work putting these videos together for us we really do seeing the places. Have a fantastic Xmas and look forward to 2023 when we are off to Tassie. 🥳🥳🥳

It is windy there at the Kata Tjuṯa as known as The Olgas and it’s why it called the The Valley of The Winds and a beautiful place visit in Australia and it is 45 miles from Uluru Ayers Rock in the Northern Territory.
