Vulnerable person raided by bailiffs

- We were visited by Marston bailiffs this morning. Even though they were told that I am a vulnerable person with Multiple Sclerosis, they still forced their way into our house; all to do with a fine from Watford borough council which was paid back in December. Unfortunately, the phone cuts out while I am trying to get the person out of the house. What is not shown is my wife also trying to get them out of the house.
The police were called and all they did was side with the bailiffs and threaten to arrest my wife. For a £35 fine that was paid in December last year, of which we have proof, this has ended with us paying £420 to get rid of them. We are in the process of seeking legal advice via HNK to get our money back.
The other issue with the Bailiffs is, the female would not identify at all even when asked to do so several times.
I know now that I made the mistake of opening the door to them, but I was about to close the door on them when the male bailiff forces his way in.
Just her facial expressions! How disrespectful she is, I’d give her a slap and shut the door this is disgraceful

The male bailiff is not medically qualified and you do NOT have to disclose your disability to them under any circumstances. I'm a former HMCTS county court bailiff (ex police officer before that) and now teach bailiffs and these two bailiffs are intimidating to say the least and have no right to enter the property , they are now trespassing.
@jurgen6768 - Like yourself, I am a former policeman. I totally endorse what you have said. I would go one step further and say they have broken a number of laws in the process and landed the council with a damages claim the long-suffering taxpayer will eventually be forced to pay.
They're bully's. I would love that bloke to knock at my house, I'm 18 stone 32 years old. I'd happily put him on his arse and take the consequences. Same goes for the police backing them up.

He's not even certificated. Do Marstons have to provide his first name when he's charged with a crime? Had no joy from them with my complaint so far. Also roughly how much does it cost bailiff companies to lift and return a vehicle? They assulted me and stole my car but had to return it as I was not the alleged debtor.

Mistake opening the door taking the chain of the door. Why do you keep talking to them just shut the door.
Makes for good entertainment though, if it happened to me i'd just ignore them..

I would have protected myself. Having said that, my German Shepherd would have taken him down in seconds and I would have punched that b1tch right out. Would I hit a woman? Yes, and I will tell you why.

She’s in retirement but the retirement home didn’t want her and her family won’t look after her because she’s rude so she has to do this job

I am a bailiff I work with the attitude that I am dealing with mostly people who have financial difficulty and my job is to help alleviate the stress of debt unlike these numptys if I attended this gentleman I would have understood straight away he has a problem,they can not force entry as they have their behaviour is disgusting and it infuriates me as they give the whole industry a bad name

Wow i tell you the door would of been being closed with him in my home and he wouldnt of got the F OUT. How dare he do that at the end i thought he was alright up until then. What a disgraceful pair of belligerent low life' s .Not showing you any ID, how on earth would anyone know if this pair were scammers, or not! To act in such a way to a disabled person too. This is outrageous, you had offered a payment & they refused, I thought that they were supposed to call their client & ask if that was acceptable or not. They are not judge & jury & as far as I am aware ,they have no right to be looking at your benefit details either .I am sure that this pair of thugs have not been abiding by any legal laws (though I am not a legal person) But breaching equality act springs to mind here.? I am also disabled and understand how you feel. if they know your disabled they intimidate you more, they are nothing but scum. . I would have just closed the door and ignored them.. they may have a warrant, but they don't have a warrant to forcibly enter pushing you out of the way. that was clearly assault, next time keep the chain on. Why did you open the door? If bailiffs do not have a warrant of entry signed by a judge in wet ink - do not allow entry. You do not have a contract with Marston's so do not answer their questions.

Speak from an upstairs window only and keep everything in email comms as a paper trail. The police can only attend to stop breach of the peace they cannot allow them to force entry or stop u stopping them progressing further into ur home. As ur vulnerable they have to ensure u are well when they attend. If u send a vulnerable letter they don’t attend and could of sent this back to the court also. For some vulnerable they don’t attend at all and send it back to the court or the council.
Of course they could take goods on that day, they had a warrant of control.
