Hi Liz. Fantastic review. I will be staying there in a month for 12 hours. One question about your comment. I think you may have made a mistake about the access for the hotel. I have been to the hotel before and did not have to go through customs/immigration to get there.
@@johnnylawrence7232 Hi there, No I have not stayed at the Ambassador Transit Hotel. I have seen the reception area only. It is at Terminal 2 of Changi Airport and I believe there is one in terminal 3 as well. The sky train takes you between all terminals at Changi Airport with ease so you can still explore all the shops and attractions at this beautiful airport no matter where you stay. (The reason I chose the Aerotel Transit Hotel is because it gave me access to the swimming pool and restaurant/bar area included in the stay) plus there is a small gym. But wherever you stay, you are at Changi Airport - there is so much to explore, enjoy and see! Very exciting that you are travelling there! To be honest, I generally travel with only carry on luggage as I tend to do very quick, short trips so I have not been through Singapore for years with checked luggage. However, the last time I did have checked luggage but was staying at an airport hotel in transit, I actually packed a change of clothes and everything I needed for 1 night at the airport in my carry on bag so I didn't need to worry about my checked luggage while I was in transit. @@ramanmand7675 Hi there, Great question - I always book all my hotel stays directly through the hotel's website as if there is ever any issue, the booking is with the hotel and they can sort it out directly and I am not relying on a third party company to try and sort it out. For the Aerotel transit hotel at Singapore Airport, I used their direct website (www.myaerotel.com) I will link it below. There I could book the number of hours I wanted to stay directly through the hotel. It was very simple to book through their website. Prices can vary depending on the time of year, however I think I paid approx. $380 Singapore Dollars for my room for 10-12 hours which also included a meal for each person and use of the swimming pool.
