Warriors Orochi 4 did evil Odin before God of War Ragnarok.
Well, the story of this title isn’t the best, but still, the game is pretty fun to play. Theses games serves as Koei’s main musou titles in a crossover, the mechanics of sacred treasures are cool. But honestly, I thought the game could’ve used more deified version of the classical characters. I mean, why not introduce deified forms for warriors such as Tadakatsu Honda or Keiji Maeda, or warlords like Cao Cao and Sun Jian? At least my favorites characters got some deified forms.

53:23 ~ Hoo boy... If there ever is going to be a WO5, I can only wonder how Orochi himself will be sidelined, or who the newest cast of original characters will be. But that day probably won't arrive until well after the new "Dynasty Warriors Origins" game.

To this day, I'm still hoping for new guest/collaboration characters. It'd be especially nice to see Soul Calibur again.

wo3 cutscenes more better . The gameplay was good and enjoyable. But this are less cutscenes. Lack of something sidestory event.
if this will continue to orochi 5 make it more hype like adding more lore and character from other musou games

Well hopefully they add characters from bladestorm,Nioh,Warriors Troy and other koei tecmo games
The amount of characters that have deifications upsets me. Why only a few? What about Cao Cao, Sun Jian, Zhu Rong, Sun Ce, Dian Wei?
What about Keiji, Tadakatsu, Musashi, Yoshihiro, Munishige and others?
Its just unfair and/or lazy.
Koei is lazy as always.
I also surpirised that wu and jin have no officer in deification at all. I remember lu xun and zhu ran are the first who found that bracelet and yet none of them are deified?

@@GReyn koei almost want to give lu xun a deification mode, but they reject it because he is not a warrior who goes to frontline, which is a total bullshit since mitsunari also have one. (I assume the producer hates Wu).
For me, wang yuanji also deserve this deification mode since she is popular in Jin (alongside Zhong Hui)

DW9 came before WO4 as a tryout for open-world.
It's because of DW9 failure devs went back to the original formula.

WO 3 and WOU is already perfect ending,with character get send back to their OG timeline with their memory still intact so they're most likely won't kill each other after all shit they went through together,then come this game not only they retcone better ending,remove all DW/SW character development but they also erase memory of the humans so this event is bassically pointless

the storyline is kind of bad and that a lot of parts of this game are DLC so even more money spent just to get more decent experience of the game. The name is Warrior Orochi yet the main characters are the mythical gods lmao.
This game sucked. WOU3U was Koei's peak. You can feel their heart and soul into those games. They realyl shoulda stuck to the Japanese/Chinese mythology instead of the Greek and Norse gods
I do like the flow of combat in this game. It's just disappointed that the game has the potential to be the best musou game but turns out to be just a damage control for the disaster of DW9.

imo.. some of the deification better being used by another character..
- Naotora, Koshoso / Diao Chan..
- Guan Yin Ping, SSX / Zhen Ji / Diao Chan / i forgot the SW characters but some are better for this..
- Mitsunari Ishida, Naotora Ii / Guan Suo / any swordman
Like why did they pick those character in the first place? and why the are a few kingdom or section (Wu-Jin & some SW) that didnt have any deification??
@@GReyn well they're fan-service characters. And I'm thinking of Lu Xun, Ginchiyo or Muneshige to get deification power because I feels like they deserve it, I thought Ginchiyo would fit with the power of Thor more than Lu Bu (and he uses the power of someone else and not Thor)
@@GReyn Goddess of Love is not suited for Zhenji, she is cold as ice. Suited more for Oichi.. Oichi is full of love.. Diaochan is beauty Goddess.
In my opinion, Warriors Orochi and Warriors Orochi 2 is better than this game.

There no encouters in battle like when you use zhao yun defeating an enemy and yukimura will said Master Zhao Yun very impressive

In what way are wo1 and 2 better than this one? Maybe you can argue wo3 is better than 4 but wo1&2 is just outdated compared to this one. Nostalgia can be blind i guess

They're basically the same. What are you talking about? Got transported to other world, fighting a great power, finding allies, some heroes siding with bad guys....how could you praise 1&2 and shit on this one, while all of them all basically the same? That's just inconsistency
