@@scoherreriawelding1392 I just followed the instructions in the video. I traded that truck in years ago, so I can't tell you exactly where the reset pinhole is. I think I remember it being on the bottom right side, but like I said, it's been years. It's a great deck and I miss it every day. Was still running strong after 11 years and two trucks. Good luck!

you guys are great, I have a question for you since I can't get anyone to pick up @ Kenwood. I have a ddx6705s in my car an my Daughter switched the bluetooth to her phone and then when I went to put mine back it wouldn't connect. I tried everything I deleted it from my phone 20x plus re-added it and it would play music for a second and then disconnect. I finally did it again and it worked! I love the unit but now I'm reluctant to let anyone in my Family switch phones, if this happens again should I reset the unit as your link?

My radio worked perfectly till i sent it to Kenwood to fix a problem with a constant "re-booting" that it did. My unit came back with the speaker locator/volume control not controlling the correct speaker. For example I'd try to control the volume to the left front speaker and the right rear speaker would operate. Hope you can help me, please? Thanx in advance!

I have a kenwood the numbers I see on it is ddx812 it is a HD radio I bought a truck 5 years back and it had it in it. The wiring behind the radio was all messed up so I unplugged it and made it nice and plugged the radio back in and its asking for a password is there anyway to reset it completely? Hi Guys, My car stereo is 3 years old, Kenwood DDX663WBT. I want to share my experience which is happened on last week. The volume is automatically goes to zero even i manually press volume up button. Seems like the volume down button is stick with the sensor. Then i switch-off the system. After that the player cant be turn-on. I was almost planned to replace with new unit. Basically i am lazy person, so i dragged for sometime. Just today i found the solution from the manual guide. I just did pressed and hold the RESET button for few seconds, then the player was reset and turned-on automatically. Now its working as normal. The reset button is like small hole that appear on player, i cant tell exact location of this button because its may different for each model. Please refer the your player manual guide. Great Video Guys! But I have a dilemma. I have a Kenwood Excelon DDX9902S that randomly locks up, reboots, and/ or gets stuck at the loading screen. It worked great for almost a year, with no issues, then they just...began. Sometimes it works just fine for a week of daily driving. Other times, these issues occur every 15 minutes. I've contacted Kenwood, who explained that I could send the unit in, but if they can't reproduce the issue, they will simply send it back. Because the issue is totally random, I have a fear that they will receive it, and it will be just fine on their test bench, only to be sent back to me to begin failing again. With that said, I have reset the unit numerous times, as well as checked all cables and disconnected my battery. Because my custom desktop background is still present (even though the clock and radio presets reset) I do not believe I am going back to true "factory default" settings. I've watched through your other videos in the hope of finding an "out of the box" reset procedure for the 9902S, but none of the combos seem to work for me. Any thoughts or help would be greatly appreciated!

I thought Kenwood was the one brand that would save your settings for recovery. Cant you store your settings and recover them when your radio loses power or is reset to factory?
