I smoked for 10+ years, and started using juul in 2022. I was so consumed by my vaping that time, and health worries was my reason for deciding to quit. I quit in Jan 2023 . However, after 6 months, I started vaping again because i got FAT i gained 30 lbs, Now I'm back to quitting because vaping has gotten way worst! I say all this, to say once you know it's a problem, it's a problem. I'm looking at it as a dead end road. Watching videos like this help me get through tough cravings. I need to get into diet and exercise. I'm going to do this.
After starting watching your videos about a month ago, I have successfully quit vaping. The first 5 days was awful, and the week after that was miserable. But now all the side effects are gone and I feel much better and more clearheaded. I still get craving in certain situations, but they pass as quick as they come. So I'm still subscribing just to stay aware and not break back into old habits.
Started at 11, stopped at 22. 27 now and couldn’t be more proud. One of the hardest things I’ve done but I’m happy now that it’s done, and that’s what you have to remember is that there is an end point, you WILL feel better after feeling bad now as that is the sacrifice. CBD no nic cigarettes and CBD vapes helped a ton, cold turkey on nic otherwise. My advise would be Stop counting the days, if you decide in your mind to quit in full confidence, you quit period. Instead of counting, it is managing, until it is over, and it WILL be over. It always passes with time.
Not thinking about it doesn't work for me, with anything, it just doesn't work. I will just keep delaying it until I start to put some serious thoughts into it and start doing my research. I was smoking, vaping and smoking weed until I started to research the real consequences and ways to quit alongside what to expect. I was expecting worst to be fair, but I was determined as I felt fully prepared and I did it, I quit all of the above in one day. People are all different, do what is best for you but definitely do it sooner rather than later, because it will change your life.
Thank you so much for your videos. You have helped me quit nicotine (22 days clean) and weed (8 days clean). I know there is still a long road ahead of me but I also know I can always watch one of your videos to help me get back on track when I think I can't do it!
Agree it is lacking of thought of not doing it, but that same lack of thought makes me go back to it... it's like the mind forgets the negatives and the need overcomes the cravings and needs to relapse - that's what happens to me.
I am catching myself doing this. Journaling about this. It’s bs. I call it out every time the overthinking comes to it. My quit day is tomorrow, Monday. I will not think about it. My brain or the AV is trickster and am learning how much of impact it’s having in my choice. I have noticed that this addiction will not allow me to think about the posits things I can do on my days off, no it’s all about the withdrawal. My goodness, I have five days off, time for myself and I am not even allowed to think about the things I could get done. I make my list, I will not allow myself to fall for this stupid trick. Monday is a big deal and it’s a day for me to rest after the three 12 hour shifts I am about to complete. I have been in the contemplation stage for twenty years. I must stop this.
You gotta stay busy because no matter how much you tell yourself to keep it simple, don't overthink and dwell, YOU WILL think about it. The only thing that helps is moving around and getting shit done. Days off are actually counterproductive to quitting, idle hands just kills you in the quitting process.
People quit when they hear all of the many benefits of quitting, not what nicotine is doing to them. Thank you for making your content positive and relatable. Because of that I quit!
I switched from smoking to vaping few months ago. I used to smoke 3 times in a day. However, I have been vaping a lot more as its easy and dont have to worry about the smell. I want to quit vaping too for good this time. Thanks for these videos. Beginning Day 1 of my good health.
I'm on day 5 cold turkey. This is not nearly as bad as I thought it would be 🤷♂️. I was expecting to be a fiend, but the cravings are not so bad. Aside from the massive headache and a little lightheadedness, it's manageable. I've just hunkered down in my apartment the whole time by myself. Took a day off work and tied it into the weekend. For the first 3 days I played video games, watched some movies. Just relaxed and slept a lot. I felt kinda lazy, but this is how I chose to get through it. I already have no desire to go back to vaping. I know it's only been 5 days now, but it's so nice not to have to worry about where I put my vape.
i’ve been having a rough go with weed, still trying to quit that one relapsed quite a few times, but that’s life, i know i’ll be able to quit one day! But on a good note, as of today i’ll be 1 week off of vaping nicotine!
Good on you! Stick with it! I vape and smoke weed and I keep telling myself that I’ll quit one first then the other, but I can’t decide which I need more. It’s SOOO hard. I think you’ve done it right and that’s what I’m going to go for. The nicotine is worse and harder to stop so good for you and keep up the good work. 🥰
@@lisaamirant5595Thank you so much!!🙂 I’ve been a daily cig smoker since 15, and than switched to vaping after that. And have used nicotine and weed since i was 15 years old! I made the choice to quit vaping nicotine first. Because like you said, how much harder it is to quit. And so far i feel so dang good after a week off of vaping nicotine. I think doing it this way has helped me so much!! And i believe you can do it too!!😊 I just got so sick of always having a vape in my hand. Withdraws are rough😅 I FINALLY slept a full night two nights ago and last night, but day 2/3 are the WORST. But you got this!! The first step towards a better life, and than all u have to do is take it day by day😊
I'm gussing you wasn't as picking with what you vaped like you might have been with cigarette brands. Meaning it might not have to be the same one every time
Ladies, be prepared for delay. Hey why don't you tell about this side effect, my pms get worse after quitting. I gain weight, it's a nightmare. Feel worse after month i actually stopped nicotine
Hii doc I have been watching porn and mastrubating for 10 years now !! I now suffer from PORN INDUCED ERECTYLE DYSFUNCTION!! Is it possible to recover if i quit now ???? Plzzz suggest
The only thing that really helped me was to switch to vaping weed using a dry herb vape. Unfortunately, it's not feasible to completely abstain from both substances. Everyone needs a vice and I have rarely came across someone who doesn't even consume at least one substance. I have also came to a conclusion that quitting rarely works in the long term, since the majority of people would eventually relapse at some point
You can do it! I was addicted to both weed and nicotine. I quit nicotine first waited until my withdrawal symptoms weren't as bad and then quit smoking weed after that. You don't have to do everything at once! Don't use the possibility of relapsing as an excuse to not take ahold of your life and health! You got this!
@@imthejokerbaby7830 Nah, I see no point in quitting both or abstaining completely from all substances. That is not the kind of life that I want, sobriety is overrated
@@noname-e2s9h If that is how you feel, more power to you. Live your life how you want to. But seeing how you're here and your commenting you are probably experiencing some of the negative side affects of both substances. Everything is fine in moderation but when your body starts to depend on a chemical to exist comfortably that's when it becomes an issue (for most). My quality of life is much better after quitting!

This is so timely for me. Tomorrow is a new day. Thank you.
Mine is Monday. I keep catching my self with anticipation and that’s what he kept me stuck. Calling it out as it appears in my mind.
Good advice. Much of it IS overthinking!
These videos have been really helpful to me! I quit nicotine 50 days ago, and I promise you all it is going to get better. Thanks for the great work!

Congrats

I'm so addicted that I can't seem to stop. I wake up and it's the first thing I think about many days.
Yeah body wants more since it went without during sleep. Best cigarette was always right in the morning first thing for me.

I WiSH vapes would go illegal overnight, then I wouldn't have a choice. (But the truth IS: I DO have a choice.) Ty for this!
that would then allow the government to lock you up on jail for relapsing
@@robyee3325 True, that. But I know myself. I'd be so afraid of jail, I'd finally quite. SO sick of this habit...

@lisaamirant5595 quit BOTH! I did 18 days ago. Keeping one just keeps it all going
10 months sober from weed. Now to quit vaping. Day 1. Vape went in the garbage this morning.
Just go download the easy way book on how to quit vaping
$20
That’s how I quit.
Quit last Wednesday, no withdrawals.
Cig free for since July 7th. It’s so hard.
Keep going!
I really think all my issues with quitting vaping are original experiences until I watch your videos lol
Because there's so many different ones people are likely to want to keep on trying vaping more then smoking and it's nicer
Hey mate I was wondering if you are supposed to get heart palpations after quitting vaping weed ? I vaped weed for past 3 years and 2 years on and off
Whats wrong with nicotine besides the addiction?

To quit vaping? Since i dont have a job right now... i might need to stay in bed for a week
Last time I vaped was months ago
