It was an incredible set. Just one of those moments when the music they play, was what the room needed, wanted, fucking demanded. The emotional catharsis happening during Won't Get Fooled Again is real, and so palpable. You do not need to be a Who fan to see it and feel it.

Pete Townsend said in an interview that he, John Entwistle, and Keith Moon were virtuosos, and Roger Daltrey was "just a singer". What a singer he is. Apparently he is quite the pianist. In the movie Lizstomania Roger Daltrey played the Lizst selections live while they were filming with no sheet music. When not involved in music Roger Daltrey created trout habitat on his farm that The University of Manchester sends its biology students to study. For a price you can fly fish with Roger Daltrey. He received the OBE for his work with the Teenage Cancer Trust. I think, when it is all said and done, Roger Daltrey has been a virtuoso in life.
