The Book of Henry | Jaeden Martell Develops a Plan To Save Maddie Ziegler

Henry Carpenter (Jaeden Martell) is aware that Christina Sickleman (Maddie Ziegler) has been getting abused by her stepfather, Glenn Sickleman (Dean Norris), so he reports the abuse to social services. However, Henry recognizes Glenn has connections through the government, so he makes a plan to take matters into his own hands.
Film Synopsis:
Naomi Watts stars as Susan, a single mother of two, working as a waitress in a small town. Her son, Henry (Jaeden Lieberher), is an 11-year-old genius who not only manages the family finances but acts as emotional support for his mother and younger brother (Jacob Tremblay). When Henry discovers that the girl next door has a terrible secret, he implores Susan to take matters into her own hands in this imaginative and emotional drama from director Colin Trevorrow (Jurassic World).

Boy, that is the stupidest way for an abuse hotline to handle a case. But I think they do it differently in real life, I don't know, but I think it's really dangerous to send one guy out to knock on the door of the abuser. With no police or partner with him. No one should ever go alone to check on a child abuse or domestic abuse alone to ask the abuser how things are at home. What abuser really, is going to admit, "Oh yes, I beat up/molest my kid." 🙄
