And this kind of sport is allowed in Poland ?
I mean, what about the actual air polution compliants like we have in the other states.
@@tt-rs1457 bruh, like our national sport is stealing catalytic converters and burning tires in furnaces to heat our houses. We dgaf about air pollution.
But now a bit more seariously. This one event is propably makeing less polution than whole city worth of cars during one day. Obviously this event maybe made some ppl angry, but not more than any other motorsport event.

The level at Driftmasters is something else... 94 barely gets you to top 10 and 85 is basically needed to top 32... And it's not like judges just give it to anyone and everyone, it's just insane how good them drivers are...
or it's insane how bad FD is in comparison 🤣🤣
@@liam4686 I wouldn't say that FD is bad. Just DMEC has more drivers who are at the top level. Also DMEC cars aren't regulated to the point FD cars are.

@@TH3RIV i disagree, DMEC cars are regulated. The different is on tire reg, you cap on 265 if i remember but u can run stickier tires. And thats why deane didnt dominating cause he chose to use normal falken tires, while piotr use valinos that give him advantage to gap the chaser and win the championship
Dmec skill level is insane. Example, at Germany all the top32 drivers got 90+ points at qualifying...
Crazy how gripped up the cars are, you can hear the chatter from the transmission in the burnout box from the tire hop
And at 22:55 you can see how all that grip shocks the drivetrain, shakes the whole car, it's bonkers

Honestly, I've been watching him since the BMX days. I was a skateboarder back then and enjoyed watching BMX too.
Seeing him progress to a professional stage in drifting from just having an interest in cars is inspiring. It's gotten me to dust of my old camera and make efforts into getting into the motorsports industry to be honest.
Hes not even a good drifter tho tbh it's just thr hype train that follows him that he gets these gigs

Travels to poland to compete against the best in the world with what 72 hours to prepare in a chassi he hasnt competed in for years and still almost got in. And he does all of this while running all of the youtube side of the business How can you question LZ's ability to drift with all of that in his life?

Even though Adam couldn't get in the show for Top 32 i still consider this a massive achievement in his career! It makes me happy to see someone i admire make his dreams come true! Maybe he can come back next year and get in the show with the E36!
What did you expect after a day in a new car to him coming into the final weekend of a championship?
@@vipecrx atleast make it 32. Rovanperä does this as side hustle and managed to do 99. Adam drives ton of diffrent setups and cars. He has shown he can "adapt", he's seen as professional drifter and we should expect him to do better even without his own car.

@@qNepoYeah but that's not how it works, Rovanpera is used to what the judges look for in qualifying and he is used to his car setup, Adam basically jumped in blind but didn't score enough points to get in, is not as simple as you think for someone that has never been to the DMEC level.
As a watcher of drift master of years im so happy to see adam part of it. The audience he can bring to it adds alot also. I would love to see him build his own car and compete in it more next season as i feel his style would be awesome in it. Darren or james build a car for adam to compete in drift masters next year.
Yeah, needs more practice to find his feet in European cars and circuits. Quite different to FD, both in the cars and circuits

I think you have the tools to analyze where things go wrong now, and man that counts for a lot. Making a new to you car perform is a steep learning curve.
Big props to Adam for jumping in a totally new car and in less than a week being competitive. How many drivers could do that? The fact that Drift Masters has 50+ competitors each round makes it much much harder to qualify, and they definitely know how to put on a show. Would be cool if FD had more competitors each round, but it seems there's not enough money for everybody in it yet.

All the crazy variables be dammed. Adam sending it out there in not just his driving but explaining everything at such a cool event along with Mikes editing skills. Also, badass that D-Mac was spotting for Adam... My first drift event ever was watching he and Vaugn killing it at Road Atlanta in 2010 for Falken in FD.
Hope this isn't the last of you in DMEC. The fact that you could at least hang with some of the drivers in a rented s15 should be reassuring.

Put it this way Adam some drivers enter drift masters events year on year and only want to qualify. Your first attempt was close to qualifying in a foreign car to you and you did a great job with your short time on the super stick valinos.

After watching this season in FD and how you handled the RTR and also your drifting in the rotary, I think you gotta go NA or Supercharged. When you drive foot to the floor it is awesome, sounds cool, and looks spectacular

Hello Adam, we were here in person as we are fans from the Czech Republic, and it was cool to see you in person. I have to say that I follow Driftmasters and FD at the same time, and considering how different the cars (setup) and overall style are here, and also that you drove a borrowed car, you did a really great job with so little practice. It would be awesome to see you at more Driftmasters races. I drift myself (not even close to this level lol) but I can still imagine how hard this actully was :)

i do feel like the caliber of driving in dmec is much higher but i feel like that's just due to the nature of how the competition is run. The tyres, the amount of drivers that you have to contend with in qauli, the difficulty level of the tracks. All these thing factor in.. So yes they are "better" but that's just because they simply have to be. If you did a full season of dmec, you would likely come back to FD as a whole new driver

The level of skill in Driftmasters is insane... the average battle has more proximity and less mistakes than the best fd battles
You did great, drifting outside the US is very different, in some aspects is like wine and water, qualy in 34 with the best guys from around the world is a great result, you need to drift more here in europe, you would love it.

Drift masters set up is insane. Imagine how the track construction could influence Formula drift. They could build a track damn near anywhere and have twice as many rounds and make it an actual race season like F1 and rally racing series.
