What a great video , I used to drive an Interceptor MK1 for a coin dealer when I was 17 from Cheltenham to London as tired eyes cost him money at auctions, now at 66 I still look back on the drives over the Cotswolds and this video brings it back to me and the sound of that lovely V8 which you could enjoy just cruising along. While my Triumph Stag sounds nice it can,t quite produce the same burble !
Nice to see you've restored this rare FF to largely original Jensen specification. An interesting contrast to the JIA restomod FF on the Harry's Garage channel.
I'm very curious about your alternator upgrade. I have a Mk1 Interceptor with a dying alternator, I'm looking to decide whether to go with OEM or upgrade and would love to know what you went for and if there were any other considerations or upgrades you had to make for it to work?
a stunning example and a priceless car at that.
A joy to drive on such empty and scenic roads……..and a wonderful restoration to my fantasy car….😎

It's great to see a FF on the road.
I can't wait for IDriveAClassic to review one.
What a phenomenal machine.
IMO, Jensen's downfall was not selling this in LHD for the US market.
due to the 4 wheel drive system running down the left of the transmission tunnel apparently that mad LHD impossible

I was aware of that.
It may have been financially prudent to have designed it as LHD only for the US market.
