This is what happends when killua isn't there to stop gon from doing crazy things....
true
Yeah, just like when both Bisky and Killua weren't there when he was fighting Genthru and he ended up being selfish with the plan and letting Genthru blow up one of his arms and seriously damaging the other.
yuh
Yeah if Killua was there the moment Pito said Kite was dead, I bet he would’ve at least stopped him from throwing away his life to kill (her?/it?).
there was like a theory floating around that gon is just super insane, and waits for his enemies to give him a reason to absolutely destroy them

I remember seeing this comment on the normies reaction lok
He used Nen restriction in the same way Kurapika did but Gon sacrificed his life essentailly
And only due to Gon's talent and absolutely insane pent up rage was he able to have enough resolve to achieve that.
mostly that feat could only be possible from all the Nen he stored all the time he got the Cat Nen restriction so add Rage Life Energy with all he Stored Nen from back to town.
@@OriginalPerception I don't think so i think it was possible because he didn't simply ask for enough power to beat pitou the contract was to age his body to a point he would be able to beat pitou meaning eventually if he continued training he would be as strong as the king in like 10 or more years
@@sauceassassin More correctly, the contract was that he didn't care what happened to him afterwards so long as he could destroy Pitou, he likely didn't specifically want to age his body but that's what he got.
he didnt sacrifice his life he sacrificed his nen(Manga spoiler alert), he still isnt able to use nen in the manga.

One of the worst you mean? Where the chosen one gets to put a restriction on himself with no training for it when characters like Kurapika had to do, to make it worse not only this bland character gets saved, Kite also gets reincarnated, he didn't even felt Pain in his body and him losing his Nen had no effect on the story as he easily gets to meet his dad. One of the worst transformations ever, he still acts and behaves the same like he was during the start of the series after he gets revived, just a pathetic cope out with no strategy and flexing of muscles.

@@currantew7519 if potential all he wants there's no point in going after Chrollo that is already on his peak lol, why would he not fight the Gon that he wanted to fight since they first met, Gon at the peak of his power 😂😂😂
When Wing explains nen in the manga, the artwork shows that all people naturally leak nen from the top of their head, so Gon's hair in this ep is used to show he's a fast-burning candle.
Fun fact: This is the first time in the entire series we can hear Killua's footsteps. That's how worried he was for Gon after he saw the explosions.
When Gon says "I finished the job the way you taught me" he is referring when Kite taught him that to kill the chimera ants you had to smash its head
Gon was so selfish that not only did he ignore Killua’s safety, he also gave up on finding his dad. By saying “I don’t care if this is the end”, he really was willing to die and leave everything behind
people often forget that this scene, for all it's hypeness......is really sad. gon threw away his whole future for a brief moment of revenge. this isn't like goku going super saiyan or ichigo using his hollow form or naruto tapping into the nine tails. this is the rage and sorrow of a little boy who couldn't handle the fact that for the first time in his life, he lost someone close to him and there was nothing he could do about it.
Please tell me what you want Gon to do in that situation? Pitou was literally about to kill him but he's selfish for doing the only thing that can let him kill Pitou? If I know I'm going to die I'm taking Pitou's ass with me.
@Ryuzaki well, pitou didn't lie. she didn't know who kite was and only agreed to go with him because he took komugi hostage. it was only after she saw his body and remembered who he was that she realized that there was nothing she could do.
@Ryuzaki I you really calling a 13 year old kid who just found out someone they care about is dead delusional? The emotions Gon is expressing are very real and relatable to people in real life when they find out they're loved one are dead. They can't accept the fact they're dead. Especially when they've just seen them looking alive.
@@aura7117 also, there was a chance that pitou wasn't going to kill gon. when he first approached her as she was healing komugi, he demanded she stop what she was doing and fight and then got mad when she was unable to. to heal and protect komugi, pitou had to agree to do whatever gon wanted, so long as she finished her work. and what were his conditions? heal his friend and fight him. when she repaired her arm and took a fighting stance, she was merely fullfilling the terms that gon himself set down for keeping komugi safe. so it is entirely possible that pitou, if given the choice, wouldn't have wanted to fight gon and instead decided to return to the palace and protected komugi until the king's return. and considering that gon was willing to kill komugi, she had to go along with what he wanted.
gon was selfish. but then again, hunters are generally selfish people.
0:22
Gon’s face when he finally snapped
‘Kite, I finished the job, just like you taught me to.’
‘I don’t think he wanted you to do that!’
He literally told him to do that. ‘You must destroy the head.’ Remember when Kite said that? That is the moment Gon is referring to
This arc is a masterclass in portraying the stages of grief:
Denial: ‘Kite isn’t dead’
Bargaining: ‘you have one hour. Then you will heal kite’
Anger: ‘Why?!’ ‘Liar.’ As well as essentially every interaction he had with Killua
Depression: ‘I don’t care if this is the end... So... I’ll use everything.’
Acceptance: ‘It’s okay. it doesn’t hurt. I’m not trying to be tough. I feel kind of happy.’
‘I don’t know how to feel... I feel empty’
You’re feeling exactly what Gon is feeling. Togashi is a master writer

@@okbye8128 He could.
@@maxdrags3115 maybe he can only scratch him
@@maxdrags3115 look what happned to netero even the king doesnt use his power or his nen also tugashi said that the king power is unlimited
@@okbye8128 you're missing out some facts mate, check their raw power in chill and fight modes and tell me who's stronger lmao and I mean pre-nuke Meruem, but even so, Meruem isn't the strongest character in the show, not even close. Also, his power IS limited, because otherwise he'd stand no damage from Netero or the Rose + he'd just heal himself easily after Rose. P.S. Unlimited Nen also means basically immortality which is total bullshit considering Meruem died from the poison lmao. He's limited to the amount of Nen he absorbed before and after his birth. There are quite a few characters in the manga that can slapp him and his "unlimited amount of nen" wouldn't do anything. Eating a few hunters and millions of fodder non-nen users wouldn't make him immortal or anything lol, btw even if he tries to go in the other countries to eat some nen-users he'd just be blown to shreds by bombs from the government and even if you highball him a lot he's still a fodder to the nukes, unlike the residents of the Dark Continent and beyond who's supposedly able to stand against nukes and still destroy all of the humanity, except for a few people like Don Freecs (if he's still alive after so many years), but he's an exception, like, I'm positive he could take out Meruem in any condition if he is still alive.
When Gon said "I don't care if this is the end, I'll use everything" he basically meant "I want all the power I will ever have, right now" so, in this one moment he used all the Nen he would've used for the rest of his life. That's why Pitou realized he would never use Nen again.
We've seen Pitou use terpsichora before, just not to it's full extent.
Yep. She really had to go all out even though she knew that she couldn't win
1.) Basically Gon set a condition on his nen to gain his entire life’s potential worth of nen to gain it all in that moment. He turned into that adult form because his body morphed into a form that could contain all that power (like Master Roshi using the Kamehameha) and like Pitou said, the restriction is that he will never use nen again and at the same time he burned through his life too. 2.) Nen can remain after death if the user’s desire is strong enough. The phantom troupe explain this to Gon and Killua on why there was no point in killing Kurapika because even if they did it wouldn’t release Chrollo’s bonds because of his hatred. Pitou’s desire to serve and protect the king was so great that her nen remained after death to keep puppeteering her beyond her normal physical capabilities
The fact that when gon told Pitou to follow him.She actually listened 😂
"I did it the way you taught me" was referring to Kite's teaching that you must destroy an ant's head to kill them.
this episode is the first time we hear killua's footsteps..

I dont think its daijobu brother
Killed me😂😂😂
In case some people might feel Gon's reasons to go such length for Kite is vague, I would like to clarify some stuffs as it would put things into better perspective.
Actually in both the manga and the 99 adaptation Kite was introduced in the first chapter/episode. He isn't a flashback character or a newly introduced one but a reintroduced character. In the 2011 adaptation the anime just starts off with Gon going on an advanture assuming you're on board with this whole hunter thing, even though it didn't even explain what a hunter is. This is why Kite is important. Kite is the one who reveals to Gon that Ging is alive and that he is a hunter. Gon's entire life changes when he meets Kite. He doesn't just hear about hunters, but rather he sees a hunter in flesh, he sees Kite.
Kite isn't just a random character, but the one that started the story for both Gon, the main character, and for the reader/viewer.
If Gon is the light that guided Killua out of the assassin life, Kite was the light that guided Gon into becoming a hunter. So really it is as if it happened to Killua.
Damn that's actually pretty dumb from the studio to not include that part in the 2011 anime.
"I don't think its "Daijoubu" anymore brother" lmfao I'm dead
they literally explain it perfectly. that was his max potential over decades and he traded his entire life to achieve it now instead
10:17 - Me and my homie writing the exam.
But fr this episode is revolutionary for the series, and side note to Ging, this is what happens when you leave your kid bruh.
10:20 when the teacher tells you it’s a 5 page essay
So i think the idea is that gon used his nen to age his body like ?10? years in advance on the spot by using the restriction that basically he'll waste all of his potential now ( seeing as wing said he is 1 in like 1 000 000 in terms of potential, it worked well)
And life, he basically didn't think much he wanted that power whatever the cost even including life that's basically what he thought imo
Yeah basically. He's an enhancer so his main abilities are enhancing his body in various ways. This is like, basically the ultimate enhancer technique, and he got that power by literally giving nen a blank check to fill in. He didn't even set a restriction himself, he just went to nen and was all "Yeah you fill that in, i don't care, just give me power"
Not just 10 years, decades.
And NOW you understand how people felt when you guys started this series and were like "This is such a good mood!", "Gon is so happy-go-lucky!" and stuff :DDDDD
Little explanation because many people end up thinking this was an ass-pull:
Remember during the York New Arc where Kurapika explained the vow and restriction? That you can boost your abilities if you basically form a contract with the nen, and the harder the restriction, the bigger the boost would be. Kurapika made it so he could only use his best abilities against the Troupe or he would die.
Gon did the same thing here but went a step further. His restriction was not "death if i break my vow", his restriction was "I don't care if this is the end". So he basically gave Nen a blank cheque and told nen to name it's own price. Which is basically the worst you could ever do. Because even if you say you die, at least you know you'll die. Gon just gave nen free reign. And that way his abilities were boosted so much. The transformation was basically just enhancing his own body, since he is an enhancer. And having set such a terrible vow and restriction, that power was boosted so much that he can get all the power he'd ever have. Sos this Gon is basically the strongest version he could have become, if he had kept training as he had before, for 20-30 more years. We don't know what EXACTLY the price is either. Pitou said that the price must have been something as high as him dieing or never using nen again, and Gon definitely would have accepted that as the price, but the show never makes it explicitly clear whether he actually lost his nen for good or not. We're never fully told the price he actually had to pay.
Same with Pitou too. The Troupe explained they didn't go after Kurapika because if someone dies feeling strong negative emotions then the nen can persist after death and haunt the target of those negative emotions. That's why they didn't kill Kurapika because they were worried that his hatred was so strong that it would have haunted them and killed Chrollo who couldn't use nen anymore. This is what happened here. Her fear for the king and the fear that Gon could be dangerous to the king was so strong that her nen persisted after death to kill Gon.
Thanks for the extra info , I already knew most of that but I didn't know that this was only possible because he was an enhancer type good catch.
***SPOILERS***
Nanika restores him to his original state so he can use nen. I don't remember if anime shows him using nen, but if I remember correctly in manga he says that he can use it but later he is losing his power. So his vow is stronger than full restore. I'm not up to date with manga so he might be good.
so when did gon learn how to do all this? like it all makes sense but i think the reason people consider it asspull is because gon did it on his own. just because the readers know everything doesnt mean the character does.
Most powerful skill in entire series and only like 2 people make restrictions/vow. Kid becomes strongest person in the planet because he says "I don't care" haha bs show.

The Pitou's part about Gons transformation is kinda innacurate. She actually says something like "This boys fangs could reach the king", and not that his power is "equal to that of the king"
No, Pitou says Gon's fangs could reach the King's throat while he's still a kid and is healing Komugi.
Here, she said his fangs have reached the king's throat. In other words, he could've killed Meruem. Saying his power is equal to that of the king is basically the same thing but she phrased it that way since she's an uwu cat girl.
@@zinamaspana no, no it’s not. The CORRECT manga quote means that “he has a chance of beating the king”, the INCORRENT anime quite means that “he has a high chance of beating the king”
Netero washes Gon, that should be more than enough proof
@@habfan1018
I don't see how saying his power is equal to the king implies he'd have a higher chance of beating the king compared to the manga quote. Pitou was only comparing them in terms of aura output but we know that's not the only factor. Saying he could kill Meruem implies he's on the same level of Meruem.
'Netero washes Gon'
Lol I have no idea what that means but I'm guessing you're saying Netero is stronger than Gon, but that's not true. He might've been in his prime, but Netero said even Pitou was stronger than him yet Gon destroyed Pitou in 2 hits.
@@zinamaspana if you actually use that Netero statement as proof, you shouldn’t be debating on this topic
@@habfan1018 The King destroyed Netero without trying at ALL. If you want to use Pitou’s manga line instead it still means Gon is relative to the King. They may not be the same strength exactly, and even if they WERE (like the anime implies), Mereum would still beat Gon in a fight due to his insane intelligence and chimera ant endurance. The point of this scene was to hype up Gon’s new power by comparing it to the King. Since we know that Meruem is a monster by now then it helps us underhand how dangerous Gon at the moment
The explanation for the transformation was already given. Back in Yorknew kurapika explained restrictions and contracts with nen. His was he cant use his stronger abilities on the phantom troupe or he would die. Gon made a nen contract but gave no restrictions for it. Like give me all the power I'll ever have for ______. He basically gave his nen a blank check and said take whatever you want. Hense the I dont care if this is the end line. It's probably the worst thing a nen user could ever possibly do. If kurapika knew what happened to gon which I'm assuming he does hes probably kicking himself cause he told gon about it
Gon: I don't care if this is the end...
Also Gon: Let's take this outside. I don't want to destroy this place.
I don't understand why he cared for that place, when he didn't even cared for his own life.

Gon would prolly kill Hisoka too, just for the lulz...
No hisoka would be disappointed that gon waisted his potential for a few minutes of power
That was a very powerful and emotional episode, I was blown away when I first saw that episode.
1: The translation was actually kinda scuffed, in the manga Pitou said "His fangs may even reach the king" meaning that he could hurt the king but being equal to him is very questionable (note that she was talking about pre-nuke Meruem)
2: His body growing wasn't actually what he sacrificed his future for, it only grew in accordance with the amount of Nen he got from the power-up
3: Gon's hair is fabulous af
yeah which also means that it was a weak power up considering it was about from ten years to a few decades while Don basically was training non stop for more than 300+ years if he's still alive and supposedly he'd jsut beat up the shit out of Meruem even after the Nuke. I mean, if Gon was willing to use his power in the similar way as Netero, he'd just erase Meruem in any form.
In the manga Pitou says "His fangs can now reach the king" which is just a more animal-themed way to say that he's strong enough to be dangerous to the king. In fact one of the official data books said that this version of Gon is much stronger and faster than Netero. In a one on one he could have most likely defeated the king pre-nuke. Post nuke Meruem was an entirely different beast, but yeah people need to stop doing this "But the manga used slightly different wors so the translation is all wrong!". No it's not, This version of Gon is stronger than pre-nuke Meruem.
Honestly this episode made me more sad and worried than hyped because of the worry of potential consequences. Maybe it’s just me
what episode is it cause i can’t find it on netflix or hulu what website is it on?
Yeah it was definitely a wide mix of emotions for me. The first time was complete shock. After rewatching this arc multiple times and reading the manga, I mainly just feel sadness fully understanding everything.
Yes, there's no reason to celebrate or cheer for the protagonist in this episode. We are only witnessing the hero's downfall, Gon's descent into the abyss. It's sad
This episode has so many things in it that are just amazing. You can hear Killua running even though it was stated you can almost never hear Killuas footsteps, Wing even knew that Gon was a force to be reckoned with, as stated when Wing was deceiving Gon and Killua by not telling them the full truth about nen.
Didn´t Bisky also said that his pure heart might lead to his downfall?
When I saw this notification, I came here with *Godspeed*
"it was hype but now there are consequences" relatable lolol 13:45
Freaking great reaction. Well worth the the wait.
idk if someone explained, but if you remember during the auction phinks explained to gon and killua that when someone dies, their nen persists as long as they have strong emotions to a cause. so pitou's technically dead but her devotion to the king is so strong her nen is still controlling her after death
he sacirificed nen and life energy so he did not care about a limb when he was gonna die and without his other arm he knew he could not contain the power in his attack so he put everything into one bomb instead of a focused attack
12:57 he means that kite taught him to crush the head of the chimera ants (remember when they encounter those 3 ants in gyro's base) and here 14:52 he means when kite was attacked by pitou (he lost an arm)
Its always surprising how much people tend to forget stuff that has been established earlier in the show about somethings happening later.
Back in the Last episode of the York New arc, when Gon & Killua meets Sphink & Sheintan at the auction, They explain to them that they cannot go for Kurapika now anyways, cause if he where to be killed by them, it would be bad cause His resentement and Hatred could be aimed towards Chrollo, Nen becoming Omnious and like a Curse when someone dies, wich would leave Chrollo defensless from this Nen Assault since he couldn't use Nen anymore at the time.
Its basicaly the same, Pitou's Nen activated in the form of a "Curse" at her death, cause her feelings of Strong Devotion was about "Eliminating the enemies of the King", since her Nen Ability was "Puppetery", Her Body Became a Corpse Puppet, essentialy been driven on auto-pilot to "Eliminate the King's Foes".
Another bit that was established earlier and used i this scene: Pitou as now way to control her Freefall.
When Netero pushed her BAck when they started Assaulting the Palace, she had to use the Immobility of her Dr Blyte ability to not be sent away even further, but she still had to wait to reach the ground and freefall before going back.
When Gon's is kicking her, she once again has no way to halt her freefall, but also the pain of the blow she received prevented her to muster any strength to try to correct her poster and prepare herself for the oncoming attack.
With Togashi usually things are either laid out or are foreshadowings/callbacks to established events/rules, thats why it always so fucking solide and consistent.
Its not 100% fool proof of course, there can be some caveats from time to time, but the worldbuilding of HxH is very solide because of these reasons.
Gon’s hair was so freaking long that hair was so high up like some big flag pole
I like that you get where is his long hair come from (growing instantly), many reactors didn't get that.
About Netero, you need to remember, what he is at his old age, if Netero was younger, he will be stronger.
Gon and Young Obito has the same JP VA. His rage here is like Obito's rage when he killed those Mist Ninjas after seeing Rin dead.
Do you think Gon needs his arm to punch?
His punchs come from his heart.
GON: Plus 1000 Gains!!!
I think that the english version has a wrong translation about what Pitou says; in the original versione Pitou Says that now Gon's fangs can reach the king, not that he is equal to the king. It's a more generic way to say that Gon is now a real threat to the king, but that doesn't mean they are equal. I still think Meruem is stronger than adult Gon. Maybe Gon aura is similar in strenght, but Meruem has a superior body resistance and another level of intelligence and strategy skills, Gon is only raw strengh/aura power.

close your eyes, your welcome

What gon did. He used restrictions and vow to increase his current power. He exchanged all his potential and his remaining life in order to gain enough Aura to kill pitou. The line that explains what he sacrificed was, "I don't care if this is the end, so I will use everything I have".
Gon's face is killing me inside! Holy sh*t!
I caught up to hxh on the day this episode dropped, probably the best day to catch up lol. Can't believe its been 7 years.
Gon did a Nen sacrfice technique based on the users resolved. Similar to Kurapikas chains that becomes super powerful against spiders. Gons is against Pitou
He meant He’s like kite as in both of them lost an Arm to pitou, also the show foreshadowed this Arm loss in previous arcs with gon..
Also another fun fact, netero only used one Arm and and opposite one leg in the Game with gon and killua in the blimp and he lost that Arm and leg vs meruem in their fight
Imagine if Killua's Godspeed ran out when Gon used his final attack 😅
This episode isn't meant to be a hype OMG look at how and strong Gon is.
This episode is overwhelmingly a tragedy.
Pitou was a loyal devoted servant, a murderer and psycopath who grew to understand emotion and gain empathy, who was the only real ally Meruem and Komugi had, who was willing to lay aside her lust for battle to heal an enemy rather than working with pouf to free komugi, who would rather engage in parlay and discussion than violence all in order to heal an injured, innocent, and weak blind girl, who was willing to surrender herself and all that she had to save one person, who was willing to sacrificed her life to ensure her king would live, who apologised to her enemy TWICE in the span of a few minutes and reluctantly took up arms against him, who became more man than monster and arrayed herself against a vicious beast far more powerful than herself to prevent the destruction of those she loved.
vs
Gon, an innocent and lovable boy who discarded his empathy and humanity, who threatened an injured, innocent, and weak blind girl with death TWICE, who refused parley and discussion in favour of violence and rage, who refused an enemies complete and total surrender, who threw away his life for a meaningless fight, discarding his friends, family, and his main drive all for the sake of revenge, who became more monster than man.
This little story-arc between Gon and Pitou is remarkable, as Gon started as the protagonist, and ended as the antagonist.
Every punch Gon throws isn't meant to be met with cheers and excitement, but horror and tears as he throws away more of himself pursuing mindless destruction.
This whole arc is a story of men becoming monsters, and monsters becoming men.
It is beautiful.
Isn’t Pitou literally just following Meruem’s orders like they are genetically programmed to do though? The only decision they make for themselves in this episode is to kill Gon while he is a child crying over the corpse of his mentor who Pitou also killed (for fun, and reanimated for fun) to prevent him from decades later becoming a threat to Meruem.
Lmfao 💀☠️

@@shelltear7277 The whole kite thing happend 2 minutes after they were born (before her subtle development later on) so of course they didnt have any complex development or emotions at the time, same as meruem. Kite was coming to exterminate its species and they did what they were born to do, protect the queen. To the guard meruem is there "kite" of course they will do what ever it takes to protect him
To help explain, it is the nen restriction, just like kurapika and emperor time. Gon literally gave up his health, future and ability to use nen just so he could have the power to kill pitou. Restrictions make abilities very powerful, and this is the trade gon made.
"He returned to manga" that fuckin sent me with it's accuracy XD
"HE'S BIG! HE'S BIG!! LOOK- HE'S GROWING!!"
"BRO! LOOK HOW BIG HE IS!!"
LMAOOOO
This is one of the rarest anime episode that put me in a shock in whole episode, other many episode are good in many anime but there was good scene for 1 min,2min maximum 5 min(Note - I Haven't watch all animes obviously, there are many anime that maybe better than this but I am talking about all I have seen yet),but this whole 20 min was full of hype you can't take off your eyes from the screen for a second
This reaction was priceless! And im sure they think the hype is over
This reaction video will always be my favourite from Heisuten, during Gon’s transformation he just kept shouting “HE’S BIG HE’S BIG”
random thought - It seems to me that Pouf protects the King's mind, Youpi protects the King's body, and Pitou protects the King's heart/soul (Komugi). Pouf is the smartest, Youpi is the strongest, and Pitou is balanced. That's why Pouf and Pitou became at odds regarding Komugi, just as the mind and heart are sometimes at odds within us.
it feels like these guys forget the whole show when they react
At first they’re like wowwww but forget how Nen works completely LOL
Yeah i dont think they’re even reading the subtitles that are so important and full of feelings in this special episode they’re only screaming
@@filipereis4721 such a wasted episode
@@vzgamer5738 i mean they enjoyed it which is good but yeah i know what you mean
Thank you for posting 130 and 131 in the same day you are a king for that here’s this 👑
I've seen a fanmade version of gon smashing pitou. Yeah, the exact smash that you are thinking about.
Gon wouldn't be that strong as adult. He would be that strong as adult, only in case of decades of endless trainings (like netero trainings), but probably he wouldn't do it, because there is no reason for him to do it, and such trainings probably would make him crazy, since even experienced netero who reach his limit was on verge of insanity while doing similar trainings.
But he would have greater intelligence and techniques, so it sort of balances out. Physical strength, no. Overall strength, yes.
Gon and Netero are very similar in their determination and being beyond reason so I don't see why Gon wouldn't take that path as well, it's just that Gon has other people that talk him out of doing that.
What Killua said in this episode 'This would be result of years of endless training's' - means Gon has potential to be beast like that, but it doesn't mean that he would actually achieve this.
@@islandboy9381 They are similar in selfishness, both are very selfish and enjoying themselves, that's all. Netero created a cult of power inside of hunter association, and he always has been obsessed with power. Meanwhile Gon has power leveling up only when it was needed for his goals, to find Gin and revenge Kite. After events in anime he just chilling in the whale island, he even doesn't try to get his nen back. At some point Togashi probably bring him back by giving some motive (I believe it will be the same as Ging's motive, exploring new), but still, his more like Ging than Netero in terms of goals and way of living.
First time I ever saw this I was shaking while gon was saying I dont care if this is the end. They made it sound like gon was gonna pull a vegeta and go nuclear on pitou but then that transformation happened. Godlike episode for real
If you didn't get it, he did something similar to Kurapika: He created a restriction (in this case, everything/never use nen again) to achieve a greater power.
I’m just seeing this episode & im just like wow . Just wow .
Safe to say this might be one of my favorite anime episodes of all time
Why no one remeber
Pitou two ability
1-heal
2-control body(when kite died, she controlled him for training ants army)
The last time pitou saw the King was Pre-Rose meruem so Gon is as strong as the King then but Post-Rose Meruem is much stronger
He’s not as strong as pre Rose either
@@habfan1018 how so
@@justawildgengar it’s a common misconception, and it’s not people’s faults they don’t realize. The anime mistranslated that scene, whether accidentally or to raise the hype. The correct quote is “his fangs may sink into the Kings throat”
@@habfan1018 oh yeah I have seen that translation somewhere
Well either way it shows that Gon is the strongest nen user that we know of as of this point in the anime because she felt no fear when ever she saw Netero or any one else
@@justawildgengar she felt insane feat against netero. “The thousands of falling dragons were nothing compared to the single man in the sky”, “pitou shut down all her senses to barely follow his afterimage”. Netero controls his aura, Gon let’s it run rampant. Aura is all Pitou can assess
Thank you for the double ep......at last, what I've been waiting for since hxh got max votes in the poll like half an year ago, totally made my day.
The last arc is pretty fun too, can't wait!!
Love her or hate her, I respect pitou, she stopped at nothing for king's safety.
I would have preferred if they were more fleshed out as they seemed less interesting compared to the other Royal Guards as Pitou didn’t have any of her own character development. They were used as more of a narrative device for Gon imo.
@@shelltear7277 Id say pitou has the most growth and development actually its just more subtle. Just look at all of them from when they are born to now. Pouf stays the exact same, youpi changes for 2 minutes and immeditly reverts back to how he was. Pitou is completly different from when they are first introduced and was clearly the most human out of all of them
Kite always said " you can't kill an ant til u chop the head". Well not in those words exactly but close enough.
why when almost all reactors arrive here, they forgot the nen restriction and the nen after death? lol
Maybe bacause to the flow of the story its a roller coaster emotions, so many happened.
gon so done looking for his pops that he became one,,
normal kids at the age of 12 wouldn't just rage when they broke and lost their kite
