Veggie Tales....always a win!! :) Thanks for your video. I love seeing other "real life" videos. It helps to know that other's days look similar! Your girls are so beautiful. Have a good day!
We don't have a cart or a basket but I have a shelf by my table where I grab the things we're doing and put them on the table. Just thought I'd share so others know it doesn't have to be a basket or cart!
I would be tempted too Lola 🤣🤣🤣!!! I love Oreos. Your morning time is so awesome 😎! I love that you split up your lesson I do that as well when we are doing science.
I love how you do family subjects first!! I like to do that also to get both my kids involved first, my kids are 5,3 and 6 months old. How old are your kids??
Great idea to add in flash cards for geography! I also set out coloring or some sort of an activity during our morning time. We use our morning time for group subjects too it just works so much better! Love your set up!
We break up our together time and sometimes use videos as well as books. We love veggie tales even tho my kids are probably too old now they don’t think they are and I’m ok with that. We loved the Oreo activity when we did that lesson. My kids ate them afterwards!!! I let them eat all of them.
Do you loop your subjects or do the same ones everyday? Do you cap it at a strict hour or just go until you’re done with the subjects you had planned for that day? Thank you so much!! A terrific video!
I made this video at the beginning of last school year but changed things up because it was a bit too long for us. It was fine altogether, but better when we broke it up. Bible in the morning and then science and history in the afternoon. We didn’t loop this last year. We did everything every day
Oh my I love how you incorporated the oreo for learning the moon phases great idea! New friend here via way of @ironhorsehomeschool. Looking forward to watching more of your channel.
I loved seeing your girls pray, so sweet!
Thank you! Children praying are the best 🥰
I am new to the cart thing too, I love it!!
Yours was so cute! It seemed big…I’m wondering if ours is a smaller one 🤔
This was so fun! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching! Can’t wait to watch yours!
Those Mind Benders...so cool!
Gotta throw some critical thinking in there
I want to come and do morning cart with you all! So fun the resources you have ❤
You’re more than welcome any time 😄😁
I loved this so much. I love the idea of incorporating phone numbers into your morning time! Amazing!
Thank you ☺️ it’s taken a while, but they finally have the numbers and address down!

Right! Just a general term for group subjects!
@@thepracticalhomeschooler totally! 😁
We have that same children’s Bible storybook, it’s a good one!
Isn’t it??
Yesss for a morning cart 😊 we use carts too.
It really has been helpful! Just hope it stays semi organized 🤪
This was really great to see. Its been hard for me to visualize how morning basket works, and this really helped.
I’m so glad! Some people just do read alouds and poetry, etc for morning time. Ours has always been our group subjects…it works really well for us!
The moon phases...that’s great! 🤣 Same, Lola, same!
Right?? Lol

They loved it too!
The girls are so engaged, love that! 😊
Thank you! It’s definitely not perfect but they do a pretty good job most of the time.

Ok im convinced I need "more than words"
You do! Start with level 1 though…this was level 2 and it’s perfect for Larissa (4th grade) but just a smidge over lexis head (2nd grade)
@@thepracticalhomeschooler ok perfect! I'm going to get the level 1 😁
This was so sweet! What a smart way to learn moons using Oreo's!
Thank you! And yes, the science curriculum called for that…it was so fun!
What book was Jonah & The Great Fish from? Also do you do morning time 5 days a week? New homeschool mom here- great video, please do more!
It was the Childrens Illustrated Bible by DK. I got it on amazon
