@@LeafyNebula lmao mate you're telling me to learn to code??? I know Python, C#, c++, Ruby, Assembly x86, and more not to mention the countless Engines I have used?
@@LeafyNebula you do realize it's not just blueprints though right? Lots of plugins use blueprints from Unreal themselves (now they are not usable). You no longer have support for Niagara Shaders Dissolve materials which require Dynamic materials for the timeline node. Not to mention UEFN does not allow any plugins once so ever lol
Can you tell me why my game crashes every single time I try and edit my terrain, my game does not lag when using it and it’s at the lowest settings just to be even safer
This is the first iteration. In glad they included a coding language because i love to code which is still fundamental skill to have not just using blueprints. In time i can see this competing with roblox as it is more developed
So basically we're giving kids access to Fortnite, in turn they make millions of really bad spam games like they already do in Roblox, the market for kids is all going to be eaten up by these really bad games. And Fortnite gives these "creators" 40 cents on the dollar? Sounds very much like monopoly. Say goodbye to indie game development. You got 5 years left tops. There is a really good documentary about this called: Investigation: How Roblox Is Exploiting Young Game Developers.
Not everyone enjoys playing fortnite, keep that in mind. Besides kids there’s also plenty of consumers our age. UEFN still has that yanky fortnite movement and camera style. So whatever visual game you create with UEFN. It still does not feel proper like game titles that make games in specific categories. Have u tried the UEFN demo’s and games so far. They’re pretty lame and don’t worry me at all :p
@@Kekdot Agreed, you would think you could edit the camera. That sounds lame to have janky camera movement locked. I have not tried UEFN yet. Seems like it was built for streamers to make custom mods or something to get views. Brace yourself for "I PUT 1,000 DINOSAURS IN FORTNITE" videos. I just try to focus on my own game atm. I think focusing on fun as a psychological art to master is the best direction you can take in our shoes. Make it fun, and they will come. Dani is the shining example of that. Very brilliant game design.
So this is useless then? U can only alter maps and add props in that do almost nothing? The only modes you can do with this are tps and that's it? How about creating game play mechanics like character creation, classes, inventory system, crafting, dungeons with ai mobs, or any other rpg elements? What about racing? Is this shit even useful?
I still don't understand why I ned this? With unreal engine I can make my own game and upload it on steam or Google play. But what I can do with this editor? I don't understand.

Nice job guys!
pretty upsetting if there is not Unreal engine blueprint editor
I know right…
Learn to code. This is really to attract other metaverse devs like roblox devs who are more familiar with coding not using some blueprint

Exactly, this doesn't even seem to be roblox level customization... so this could get boring real fast.
You can... just you have to use their new language verse.

This is for fortnite players not the average dev, the main draw is you have access to an already existing playerbase instead of build one up

Its like Roblox, we dont need blueprints only UE users are familiar with blueprints while most game devs code
You create games with the devices
