I have never done a rally, but would very much like to. Any tips on where to find beginner-friendly rallys like this one around europe (im in Germany)?
Roadbooks are like trying to study to be an accountant, while trying to stay safe on the road. All while being at the mercy of someone else's roadbook compilation mistakes. I get completely annoyed, miss all the scenery, get lost and don't enjoy the riding. I've done 5 or 6 roadbook events (dirt and road) and now refuse to do them. Map or GPS for me.
Good video of great fun masquerading as a race!
It was fun! It was not a race. :-)

I camped in that exact spot 1 week prior, hope the fox didn't nick any of your stuff!
Ha! It was too wet for foxes

Def take a look at RallyMoto. They run a great event in Portugal.

Sounds like you need to give RallyMoto one more try. Their events are really laid back. Plenty of opportunity to enjoy the views. :-)
