The people at Ford who decided to discontinue the Ford over 6+ years ago hopefully were fired for making a horrible decision! The Ranger is an obsession for many truck people. How could you? Finally it’s back. All those missed years and millions of dollars in loss profit! Good job.
this truck fits my situation perfectly, most of the time its just me in the vehicle, I do a lot of mixed driving. I don't tow but maybe some day I will, I don't need a full sized truck as it would be over kill so when the time comes, in a year or two this will be my next vehicle. Honestly there is nothing I don't like about this truck. I have sat in it on the showroom floor and I felt comfortable in it.
I knew this was sold elsewhere especially Australia with right hand drive. And I wanted to import it from Australia to the United States but luckily it came back!
for me best looking and stance, does need some improvements like power sliding window, 60/40 and removable rear seat would be nice, larger climate controls bed options and of course 2.7v6 tt
Another solid review. I've heard that they aren't selling as well as expected thus far, however I've not checked into the broader midsize market so I've no idea if only the Ranger is selling sluggishly or if that market is dipping a bit at present. Any idea if your actual fuel economy matched the EPAs numbers? I understand the vehicle isn't fully broken in as yet so I would expect some difference, but other channels have reported a significant difference thus I'm curious as to your experience. Thanks for the review, and have a great weekend!
Thanks Patrick! My average was just under 20mpg (19.8 if I remember correctly) - mostly highway but I like to step on it whenever I get the chance. So it was less than the 20 city / 24 hwy rating but a combination of the way I drive and it not being broken in could explain that
Selling fine. Approx 7k mo. Doesnt take away from fact it's best new midsize hands dwn! A test drive all it took to win me over. The powertrain is outstanding & chassis dynamics are superb. #Ecoboost
I heard there have been a couple of electrical gremlins that been a bother. I may look into one after a while just till they get the new ish vehicle issues worked out. Been subscribed to your other channel for a while. Great health info there
I think Ford cancelled the old Ranger just so they could reintroduce it a few years later. World's oldest vehicle marketing. Creates free buzz for the brand.
Should at least include the spray in liner when paying this price. THese trucks cost a lot less for same packages offered in other countries so they are marked up way to high. You can get a raptor in Asia for 10k less US dollars than an XLT in America. Its a rip off right now with these prices for Americans to me. Look, a 4 cylinder with less than 300 hp 4x4 Super Crew no leather, no bed liner XLT model is over 40k ! come on man thats BS. Show me any other vehicle that is less than 300hp, 4 cylinder, no leather for over 40k that was put out there to sell to us. Great Truck and I would love to own one. but the pricing I can not come to terms with for what it is.
What a stupid comment. All these mid sized trucks are over priced and you don’t have to buy them if you don’t want too. Move along Jack Ass and go buy your compact car
Beautiful truck that fits me perfect! Best powertrain of all midsize trucks . Best tech / features. Ford truck engineering. Bought one an love it!

Exactly. I bought one last mo. Love it more everyday! Amazing powertrain and rock solid sporty chassis dynamics. Good job Ford . #Ecoboost
@@Davido50 have you taken it off road? what packages did you get?
Very comprehensive and entertaining review- thanks man!
I like the gauges in XLT better.

I would give it a least a year. Any new car has issues. Allot of tech here and allot to go wrong IMO.
HiPlains1 I agree
I want them to make a King ranch model
can you imagine

Good review. I like the truck but for that price I would go full size.
I wonder what the payload capacity is? Andy
1750 pounds I believe that’s what mine is
beautiful truck, just don’t have the money😂
I wanna use the new ranger for Uber
