Szass tam cloak used from both sides with hood is genius idea. I like the katana idea but it can be improved. I think it requires more pieces to create a better sheath.
Thank you I was really happy with the cloak idea as well! The katana Idea i kind of just through together to make a fig with the lady of pain dress but I agree it could be improved. It looks good from the front but from the size it looks a bit strange.
My favorite is the Valkyrie at 6:10. Some gray elf ear pieces would be legit! Dark Elves would be so cool. I hope you are having a delightful holiday break, and wishing you the best in 2025 !
Yeah she’s a cool figure for sure I love finding cool uses for the arakokra wings! I really hope we get a dnd series 2 with a dark elf. Have a great holiday season as well thank you so much for all the support and comments on the channel!
I really think these are your best custom minifigures with this series! Every minifig was better than the last. Definitely going to go out and try to get some more tomorrow!
Thank you I thought so too, my other minifigs were fine but these I was truly proud of! Good luck finding some more I hope you find some of the ones you want :)
Love these! I definitely think that the flesh tones fit the D&D theme a lot. Also, i know it's quite overdone now, but you should make your own BG3 companion customs since you play the game now haha
Yeah flesh tones for dnd just give off that dnd vibe with all the different races and whatnot. I think I still will make a BG3 customs video even if goldfyre's already done 2 haha. I'm gonna wait till I have unlocked most of the companions though so it'll be a bit of the ways in the future as I'm just at the point where I saved halsin so still pretty early in the game. I also might make some other non-companion characters! Thanks for the suggestion :)
Woah!!!!! I love the orc torso idea you have!!! I actually used the same thing, but with the lady of pain’s torso for the Teiflings. I used her head for trident people, which works so well. Her torso for an armored and skin showing torso, and the legs for either rich ladies (in lavander blouses) or on orc ladies. I hope you make a video using that idea!!!! And thank you!!! I love these videos man. Keep it up!!!!!!!❤
Thank you so much! I feel like flesh tone heads work a bit better for the more dnd/lotr style figures where as yellow works better for a more classic castle look
Yeah he was one of my favorite figures for sure and aside from the turban (which can be replaced for a hood) his parts are really easy to come by! Thank you so much I’m glad you enjoyed :)
I was lucky with most of these. Got around 10 + of the weaker ones, 15-20 of the rest, and 24 of the dragons (had a target of 30 for these ... ) I really think as much as people talk about the dragonborn Paladin, they don't talk enough about Tasha. Such a versatile Minifig parts pack. The lady of pain is a pain ... just can't find anything to do with her torso and dress ... the head, I will use as wall decoration. looks like a fancy mask
Sweet I mean 24 dragon paladins is pretty good considering how they instantly get snatched up the second a new case is put out but you can always look for a decent deal on the aftermarket to get your last ones. That's what I've been doing. I totally agree with what you said about tasha though she's got amazing legs and arms for custom knights!! The lady of pain really is the worst for customs though, I'm probably gonna sell most of mine and just keep 3 or 4.
@@RioBricks Yeah, Ijust got 8 (better safe than sorry) -64 of those came with full cases. Will keep them, and see. But as of now .... just the normal version looks good.
@@octav1600 For the Lady of Pain? Fair enough, maybe you could make some sort of wizard faction or something with them who knows, the figure by her self looks really cool!
@@RioBricks yeah, got 6 (not 64 xD ... ) then another 2 to make sure I have it. But I can't seem to mix the torso or dress with anything really. And it being so vibrant deosn't really go with a cult either. I could see making maybe 3-5 mages with her and that's it. For the mindflayer torso + dress for example I could see myself having 100 C'thulu worshiping guys and an altar. The vibrant orange just makes it stand out too much. This s not a criticism as to it being bad - it's good as a CMF, just not very useful in mass.
@@octav1600 Yeah I totally agree with you the vibrancy makes it hard to incorporate into a lot of things, also orange isn't a common color for a lot of lego castle stuff in general
Yeah she’s a cool figure glad you enjoyed! I specifically bought extras of the torso just to erase printing of the arms so I don’t mind but to each their own :)
The dragonborn sorcerer is really cool! I also really like the orc, I missed out on that cmf but I'm looking to get some of them soon because that molded jaw is just so good! Nice video as usual!
Hey man. I’ve been going through your channel and you have a lot of army faction vids! What would you say is a solid number per faction? Not about the type of collector I am, serious or casual. Just in general what’s a good number you think?
Thanks for checking out my videos I'm glad you enjoyed them! Personally I would 10-15 per faction is a great number to go for if you have a fairly average budget because that way you can get a lot of variety on your figures and really make each one unique as it gets harder to do that with bigger armies like I generally have. It also means you can army build more factions which is cool. If you have a specific moc in mind for a faction and you know you'll need more it makes sense to get as many as you need but generally I would say around 10-15 is a great starting point for army building if you want variety in your factions and whatnot. I regret going as big as I did for some of my factions but I do have some big plans for mocs so I don't terribly regret it.
@ gotcha! Yea I just got into this whole Lego castle thing. Big into the Star Wars line so I expanded my horizon a bit. I got 27 black falcons off pick a brick to start. I almost thought about getting more to make it 60 and that’d be a number I do per faction. But that gets expensive 😅 maybe I’ll go with 30s or so for the ones I have a liking towards! Thanks for the update. Quality over quantity is probably better
I wish I had gotten more i didn’t get any Dragonborn, lady of pain, druids, or mind flares which I need all off for what I wanted to doo 😭😭😭 & I’ll never get any of them
Yeah I really wish I could have found some more Dragonborn’s in the wild I’ve been buying some from the after market and they’re so expensive 😭. The other figures you mentioned though can be easily bought on bricklink still for around 5 dollars each so I would order some asap if you still need them :)
Flesh tone please!!!!!! I think the color difference with the light nougat, nougat, like brown, reddish brown, and everything else is so expressive. And I think the more “Earthy” skin tones complement the either earthy or raw metallic shine on the armor. Yellow faces do have MANY more face expressions, but there are so many different skin tones heads, that they cover most any kind of figure!!!!
Yeah I definitely agree with you I love the expressiveness and realistic look of the flesh tone heads! I'm stuck with yellow for now due to it's availability and variety but I would definitely consider swapping to flesh tones all together if they were cheaper and more widely available.
I probably won’t since I mainly focus on Lego castle and I don’t have many space parts to really do the upgrades I would want to but i might make a video showing off some space customs sometime
Its funny because you said if youre like me you have a lot of torsos of the dragonborn when I dont even have the dragonborn figure Maybe Im not like you😅
Lol I just meant if you have some of the Dragonborn's there's a good chance you've combined the arms with some other torsos so you might have some extra torsos without the arms but I recognize not everyone was lucky enough to find dragonborns sadly. Good luck getting some although your best bet is ebay or bricklink at this point :)
Flesh looks more realistic and I feel meshes with the colors of the torsos far more than the yellow does. Anyway I love these figures.
Yeah I gotta agree with you, flesh just gives off the dnd vibe as well so I like it for these style of figures. Thanks a lot I'm glad you enjoyed :)

Nice work ! I love the valkyrie figure, and I might have to use that scabbard technique!
Awesome I'm glad you enjoyed! The scabbard technique is great for any sort of samurai/ninja style figure!
Really like the Valkyrie. Those arms getting their fur removed on that second figure made me sad though.

Thank you so much! The orc is one of my favorites as well :)
