I’m just returning into the world of lego as a AFOL. Love this video style, it gives me tons of ideas for my own figures. I would love to see more customizations using skin tone heads!
Awesome welcome back to this awesome hobby and I'm happy I could give you some ideas! I have some plans for the some figures with flesh skin tones in the future so keep an eye out I just mainly use yellow because that is what I use in my fantasy world!
5:04 was my favorite. Mostly because it gives me ideas for myself. I really like the purple and gold combination. A "purple" army would look great. I'm working on a small Disney Princess Malificient / Castle MOC with the the black/purple/transgreen combination
Fair enough the old Danju parts aren't a bad place to look if you want a purple faction although I'm gonna use different shields for mine when I get to them. That's an awesome moc idea I would love to see it when it's finished!
Wonderful creations, Rio! I actually like the ones you've declared as "nothing special" the best, particularly the Dragonborn Sorcerer which actually makes great use of those parts. Cheers and Happy Building, neighbor!
Yes, thank you for putting the dragon head on the lady of poison body. I knew that would be a beautiful combination! For my Aarakocra I have it white arms, the centaur girl's chest because the dark green matches the tunic on the bird legs, and the harpy claws. He looks bad ass.
Yeah the gold accents just work so well with the gold dragon head I can't believe I didn't think about it sooner haha. That's an awesome Idea for the Aarakocra white arms give a wing look which could be really cool also I love that centaur torso I wanna get some more and experiment with some combinations!
Oh man I just looked up who that is and you're totally right, the horns, black hair and battle axe really sell it! I wanna play bg3 at some point but I have such limited time I can barely get out all my yt videos on time haha
I love the costoms I do this in my Lego fantasy world and i think you should try it. For my bird warrior army i use the bird head and wings for the king and comaders and for the soldiers I use all human parts but the legs are the bird people legs and their like fauns but they have bird legs
Awesome I'm glad you like them! I like the idea for the bird soldiers although that's sort of what I do except I use the wings as well if I'm not mistaken unless you're talking about a human head with bird legs.
my fav. fig is your purple wolf knight. it looks so nice, fantastic job! i couldnt resist to copy it, but i swaped the hands and the feather to black ones. try it out, it looks amazing! and im lucky enough to have de purple wolf-shield.
Awesome I'm super happy that you liked it! Funny enough I initially made him with a black feather but then I couldn't decide if I liked the white or black more and I just made the video but in hindsight, I think black feather and black hands would be the best! I also can't wait to get the wolf shield to finish him off!
Regarding your question about adjusting Lego pieces… I’m all for it this year I’ve done the ultimate sin painted hair pieces, drilled and carved Lego pieces to improve them and even adding studs at weird angles to create new types of brick build characters. So no judgement here:)
Haha don't let the Lego purists see this. That's cool though fair enough, I don't know if I'll personally physically alter pieces by cutting them but I do love erasing prints or painting stuff different colors for a specific purpose it really increases the versatility! I've seen some really cool customs with modified pieces fs so I respect whatever people wanna do with their lego no judgement!
Same their really nice especially because you don't need pairs of printed legs so it's easier to use torsos that are hard to pair! Can't wait to start seriously working on my dwarf army once I get to it!
I really love the nexo knights demon lady (not sure where the torso is, whipparela perhaps? Also the Strad's torso is great with the lion knights. Why didn't you leave his arm with fancy print on ?
I'm not sure what torso it is, it was just one of my nexo knights demons I had as a kid. The reason I swapped the arms on the strahd torso was because I wanted him to match the blue and red color scheme so I liked blue arms over the dark red and orange.
I feel that I only really started collecting Legos again a year and a half ago. I would recommend keeping a close eye for good ebay deals although they usually get snatched up pretty fast. Bricklink is generally your best option for getting stuff cheap but it's all about making wishlists of stuff you want and being smart about what you buy. I'll make a guide to bricklink at some point in the future!
Haha that's the 2nd comment I've seen about this, I've never played BG3 although I definitely want to if I have time. I just used the horn piece because it worked perfect for a demon and then I used the weapons from the dnd series so that the fig would use more parts than just the hair so that's why she has the axe lol.
@@RioBricks Just make sure that you have *a lot* of time. That game is no joke. It's absolutely massive. (Totally worth it though. Karlach is best girl and Iwill fight anyone who claims otherwise.)

Nexo knights Demon army 👍🏻
Yeah that'll be cool to make I can't wait!
I remember that in the show they were called the Lava Monsters.
@@OmegaIsHere-yw5vq They were? I guess maybe to make it more "child appropriate" idk
I recommend the chaos catapult (buy 2 of these) they are actually pretty fun for play and display and they are still pretty cheap
@@Darkshelper1675 Eh it's not a bad price but I still think it's easier to just buy the figs individually

The new paladin parts are some of the best lego ever made
I fully agree and I really hope we get another similar figure we even more generic armor printing!
Wonderful creations, Rio! I actually like the ones you've declared as "nothing special" the best, particularly the Dragonborn Sorcerer which actually makes great use of those parts. Cheers and Happy Building, neighbor!
Fair enough sometimes the more simple ones are the best haha. Thanks for support and I'm glad you enjoyed!

I would love to see the rest of the knights kingdom knights updated 5:26
Sweet I wanna try and collect at least one of each of their shields then then I'll do that!
This has to be done!
@@louigovi Will do!
Awesome figures! I really like the upgraded kingdoms lion knight, might have to do that on mines 🙂
Sweet I'm glad you liked them and I would fully recommend it the only problem is actually finding dragon paladins haha
Very true, but i have managed to find 11 dragon paladins so i should be good
@@Phil-69 Oh sweet that's awesome then you can upgrade some of your commanders/more important figures!
BRO "THE EAGLE ARMY"
Yeah what about them haha
Great work! I love the tiefling hair on the Nexo Knight demon - I might have to try that!
Yeah I would definitely recommend it it's a cool upgrade, thanks for watching!
The demon kinda looks like Karlach from bg3
Oh man I just looked up who that is and you're totally right, the horns, black hair and battle axe really sell it! I wanna play bg3 at some point but I have such limited time I can barely get out all my yt videos on time haha
I love the creativity of the last one, im definitely gonna steal that idea 😁👍
Sweet I'm glad you liked it! I think the torso is pretty mediocre but honestly for a lion knight commander I think it works!
Beautiful minifigs!
Thanks a lot!!

Love making dwarfs

You could make more Aarakocras using Chima eagle parts.
Yeah true I just think their a bit ugly haha

@@RioBricks got it.
For the arakocra ranger you could use the wings to build an angel to fight the demons using parts from the marvel cmf storm could help
Oh that's a cool idea maybe I'll try something like that if I make another video on these!
If you use the head of the tiefling with the hair of the tiefling or dwarve on the body of lady of pain you can make a snake person.
Oh that's a cool idea thanks for the suggestion!
These custom MF are awesome 👍😎
Thank you my friend I love your custom figures as well!
Any customs within the series themselves
What do you mean?
What's the fastest or cheapest way to get past minifigures? I wanna start doing stuff like this but just started collecting

If I could only show you my whole faction you would be a amazed I have over a 50 different characters and expressions
You post it on youtube or something that would be sick! Also you can show me on discord (Rio039) or instagram Rio_Bricks_
