Loved the video, Natalie. I think I could title myself as the "Worlds Most Unglamorous Worm Farmer" 😂. I'd still recommend bubbling the water for 24 hours before making the tea as it will oxygenate the water and also evaporate any chlorine that made it through the filter.

But with so much FREE information on UA-cam and online from Universities that have done studies on what's actually going on why would anyone pay for free info ? Stop being lazy and just do research 😅😅
Excellent idea. The plant could definately benefit from worms. I have worm bins in my garden beds. Verma composting is so important to gardens.
Worm casting tea can be fantastic. From what I've heard, people who are not using this method are the ones who had bad experience with worms being killed by making the tea (kind of the opposite idea of this approach in respect and harmony with mother Earth), especially the tiny "babies", and especially for the larger gardens, where you need more casting to prepare the tea, hence many more worms to save from drowning.

Have you ever used worm tea in hydroponics? If so, how did you ensure the nutrients were suitable?

greetings. fun to watch you and see what you have to share , so a new subbie. about one year into my first worm adventures, started with a blue barrel split in half and a few worms i found in some vermicast i bought,
now have 2 4 foot by 8 foot cement block bins and building a 4 x 10 next s.s. pay day. they expand their numbers so fast .
watching to learn the vermi tea . will make my first batch in the next couple of days
like you i dream big, i am starting into farming, besides garden and have one hector of corn going and i hope to use vermi tea on the next crop.

Another great video Natalie! Thanks for doing this! I have been worm farming for over 10 years in a vertical migration system and always have more to learn! I bought the supplies for making worm tea over a year ago and haven’t put them to work. This video inspired me to get going with that. Two questions, how long do you “steep” the tea with the bubbler? And, how long will the steeped worm tea last?
Ohhh good questions Debbie!! Happy Easter btw! I do mine for 24 hours and use right away! I find it goes anaerobic rather quickly so best used same day if possible!

Hello. Stumbled on your channel today. Thank you. I have a couple questions.
You mentioned a system that is too wet. That's me. I've struggled with that for seven years now. But, my worms seems to do fine. They thrive in fact. What can I do better to keep it dryer? And the liquid you mentioned: leachate or however you said it; is that bad to put on plants?
Finally, do you have another method to make tea if I don't have the bubble system?

I’m sad to say, but my worms 🪱🪱 are still in their temporary bin. Between my back issues and some mild depression I haven’t finished their larger bin. They are still doing good though. I use rain water when I need to wet the leaves on top. I’m hoping I will be able to finish it by Monday. Happy Easter 🐣 and have a blessed day 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻💕👩🏻🌾🪱

And we used to have 1/4” soaker hoses on the secondary bib but we are transitioning over to drip tape from drip depot!

Great video. I just want to ask you few things. If you are going to use the worm tea in the garden, is it necessary to wrap the castings in the mesh bag or you can just dump them in the water and dissolve them? They are going to end up in the garden anyway. Is there any particular reason why you are wrapping them? And instead of molasses can I just use regular white cane sugar? Will it make any difference? Thank you.
If you don't have molasses you can use brown sugar.
Hey Dejan! You can dump them! But suspending them helps them stay aerobic and ensure they’re all being touched with air food and water.
how many worms about are their in this bin?
I wish you could show what you feed in one week. My bin always looks like a mess. Not to productive.

Can you use castings directly into garden or do you have to do worm tea?
Yes absolutely!
You didn't say how long to brew the tea for? Is an hour enough or a whole day? Anyway let's save the world one bucket of worm tea at a time.
24 hours during hot months, up to 72 hours during cold months

Just started our first worm garden bin today. My question is, when you make the worm tea, how often do you spray your plants with it?
At my gardens worst. I did it weekly. Every garden is unique! I encourage people to try once and wait a week. The try again.
