As a local from Mobile and a vendor who is on campus at South Alabama weekly Alabama got a great hire in Womac. What’s not being discussed is that Ryan Williams lives within 15 minutes of the South Alabama campus. Let that sink in.

We basically just Giving all the knowledge of the goat to a young hungry coach that just so happens to be one of very few with a uptrending resume reminiscent of the goat. A coach that took Washington to the natty in 2 years, and we gave him Saban as a consultant and a roster 8x more talented than the one he just took to the Natty.

There’s no doubt in my mind that Alabama will be absolutely fine. Rival coaches are currently telling recruits Bama won’t be the same, Saban’s gone…. Last time I checked those rival teams weren’t coached by Saban either. Watch us walk into ATL to defend our crown. Fans of other teams acting like we lost all our talent, apparently unaware we could put a 5 star as a starter at every position on the front 7 as well as CB and still have nearly a handful sitting on the bench. Oh no, not Proctor! Oh wait, Elijah Pritchett was the #1 OT in his class as well, Proctor can go block for the worst offensive in the country for the last 3 years. lol. Tell ‘em, coach. Rtr!

Two keys to all this - time and patience. You cannot replace the greatest of all time with anyone - after all, if you could, he wouldn't BE the greatest of all time. However we can retain the Bama Standard and we can stay at the top of the mountain if our fans and supporters understand that. We had a great offensive mind on staff, and now we've added a great defensive mind. If we're not competitive for a natty in 4 years I'll be shocked. Time to n*t up, Bama fans. I agree a great staff is being put together but they have to stop all of our star players leaving. I wasn’t going to panic at the beginning I was upset when we lost Bond but then we lost Niblack I was like well that ain’t good then we lost Amos and others but if we lose Downs it’s time to hit the panic button in Tuscaloosa.

It was coaches who got picked after working with him, put up on pedestals, for having Saban experience, Saban made most of his former assistants, literally

His defensive hires are sketchy at best, not a lot of experience in the SEC. Can’t win every game 41-36 like he did in the PAC-12, a conference that hasn’t really played even above average defense since Pete Carroll left USC. OU will get DESTROYED in the SEC even with a “defensive” coach in that buffoon Venebles. Bama will become SC under Riley if he doesn’t get an experienced hammer for a DC. The guys he’s hired are NOT it. Of course if he just avoids saying fans have “untrained” eyes he’ll be off to a better start than Riley and his BFF Alex Grinch. (Who shouldn’t be trusted to be a rec ball DC, what a clown). Bama’s tackling got much better this past season under Steele, first indicator of a quality DC - TACKLING!
