So much energy and joy ! It's probably my headphones but the violin sounds a bit too "high pitch" for my ears :D. Thanks for sharing and for your performance !
The most epic video game intro music of all time imo. This performance not only reminds me of my memories playing Chrono Cross, it also takes me back to a simpler time when I was a kid. I'm 35 now and the effect of this music on me hasn't changed one bit. Scars of Time indeed.
This rendition is so good, I come back to this about once a week (for the last 3 years). There is something so moving about the music of Chrono Trigger/Cross. I'll be honest, I never played Trigger as a kid (I did with Cross tho, and I always let the whole intro play every time), so I'm not quite sure if its just tingling my nostalgia or not. No... its the leitmotifs, the rises and falls, how the composition resolves at the end, it all seems to twang a deep deep DEEP cord in my soul. It chokes me up every time, even now trying to explain it. It's like the music echoes the epic-ness of the story behind it, it seems to marry the hauntingly vast emptiness of eternity with the staggeringly beautiful importance of BEING, of cherishing the moments within the flow of this phenomenon we call time, for this brief hyphen of consciousness we experience between the maternity ward and the grave.
WOW. That's exactly why it's my favorite game of all time. This game story is DEEP. Never played it the same way twice. If you captured your comment on a t-shirt, I'd probably buy it lol
You have to play chrono trigger it is a must play and I'm not even a turn based RPGs fan..or at least I wasn't until I rented chrono trigger from blockbuster video in 1995 and I never returned it I paid them for it best 25$ I ever spent
@@HighFalutinTootin I should clarify, I did not have the childhood nostalgia tingles for Chrono Trigger because I didn't play it as a kid, but I did play it as an adult. Many times.
