Finally, a technique I could use. I simply needed to add 10 years to an actor. Most of the tutorials are from young to old age, 50's and above. Much help, thank you.
I found out about this channel around half an hour ago, since then I have realised that you are one of the moest realistic sfx make-up artists I have ever come across. This is so amazing !!!
Old age make up is some of the hardest to pull off, but you did great. Only thing I would add is maybe a few light liver spots, especially if you do the hands. But that may be better if you are aging more than you did here. Either way, great tutorial.
This was not only SUPER helpful considering I'm about to go in on my first try with the wrinkle stipple - but also I was laughing all too hard at the end. You're amazing. Thanks for the video!!
OMG your skin is so flawless?! how is it so polished and shiney?! and even after repeatedly using so much special effects chemical products on your face!!please do a video on your skincare routine and the products you use!!! please!
I loved this series sooo much it really helped with my skills. I'm only 13 but my parents and friends and family say I'm really good at this stuff. I'm saving up for some better products but I live in Canada so it's really hard to find stuff in Canada .
Deanna Collier I would love to! I used to do it for fun when I was a teenager haha, then go on webcam to chat to strangers. The emo/effeminate looks are easiest to pull off.
This is amazing and so helpful! I want to try this for the first time soon. Can you have makeup under the wrinkle stipple like with rigid collodion? I'm very hesitant to put this directly on my skin without any barriers. Thanks!!
lovepannacotta Hahaha, I was sitting here for ages thinking "what would be funny". I asked a few friends who have dark senses of humour like me, got some good ideas, then was at home alone with a video camera... :P
Also, I was cracking up at all the "old people" activities! Every single one of my older relatives have sent me bloody Candy Crush requests and left awkward comments on my Facebook photos tagging all my friends and family haha.
Trying to do this for an event. Would I need to get the ben nye specific powder and spray sealer or would regular make up setting spray and setting powder work? Want to make sure I get the order right and not pay extra in product/shipping
That's awesome! You still look great ;-) When you show a subtle or realistic tutorial like this, it would be quite fascinating to see you interact with strangers to test the believability in person))
hey, could you do a tutorial on how to do very saw chapped lips....? I have no idea where to start on that one. I know you'll do it AMAZING :) I can't find a tutorial anywhere ....I don't know if you have seen The Revenant trailer but thats what I mean. :) thanks a lot for these fantastic tutorials xx
hey! I loved the tutorial! I have a question, how long can you stay with the latex on your face? I have a fear that, because of the stretching, after a long time with this forcing the skin, it would actually create real wrinckles, is that possible?
I love your videos but could you slow them down a bit especially when your doing the coloring? also, is it ok to put latex or your eye area as it's such a sensitive area or is the Ben Nye specifically designed for it?
I have to do this on one of my cast mates for a theatre performance next week. What should I use instead of the eyeshadow palette as it is for theatre?
You can still use eyeshadow just use it a little more heavily to avoid the person getting flushed out by lights. Having experience doing that, it works better than you think.
What type of sponge did you use? Is it damp? I tried using on with one and the sponge just soaked up all the liquid latex, Ireally need help. Thank youuu
Hi dear , i wanted to ask you i if you can help me with finding a website that have all the sfx supplies in reasonable prices that can ship world wide and its safe
Sorry for commenting on such an old video, but I need some advice! Do I apply the wrinkle effect with liquid latex first, and then colour my face with face paints (it's quite a wide area application, not drawing wrinkles/contouring)? Or do I need to do it the other way around?
Really cool effect again Kiana! When I first look at the thumbnail I thought was your mother in the picture... Hahahahaha And wow, your skin supposed to become so red when you uses the makeup remover? Hahaha That scared me a bit...
Raphael Lima My skin gets really red anyway, but it was a week of using a lot of SFX products on my face, and that was the last tutorial for the week and my skin was like NOOOPPPEE no more pls. :P
I loved this tutorial so much grandma.
Powdah FX
Wooo grandma.
Finally, a technique I could use. I simply needed to add 10 years to an actor. Most of the tutorials are from young to old age, 50's and above. Much help, thank you.

HAHAHHAHA OMG KIANA THIS IS THE BEST!!! the emails and googling at the end is hilarious, awesome job on the makeup too :)

Deanna Collier I would love to! I used to do it for fun when I was a teenager haha, then go on webcam to chat to strangers. The emo/effeminate looks are easiest to pull off.

lovepannacotta Hahaha, I was sitting here for ages thinking "what would be funny". I asked a few friends who have dark senses of humour like me, got some good ideas, then was at home alone with a video camera... :P
haha I think we definitely have the same kind of humour :D greetings from around the world, from Switzerland :P
Omg this is literally my favorite video!
This tutorial was amazing haha! Loved the latex series, looking forward to the next :D
Ebbsos Thank you! I'm glad you liked it :D
never thought of using latex to do ageing makeup GREAT video x
Great video! Love your sense of humor.
I love the way you work and explain I learned so much watching you
Also, I was cracking up at all the "old people" activities! Every single one of my older relatives have sent me bloody Candy Crush requests and left awkward comments on my Facebook photos tagging all my friends and family haha.
Spades Shades hahaha I legit looked at reddit's "fwds from Grandma" to get ideas, and then went "oh yep, the candy crush one is going in!"
This is awesome. Really love the results.
That is unbelievably cool, never seen anything like it!
A lovely tutorial for subtle aging effects complimented by an existential crisis halfway through.
Thanks a lot, now I have to call my mom.
Fantastic tutorial and a great transformation. I hope your mom has a great sense of humour! 🤣
Trying to do this for an event. Would I need to get the ben nye specific powder and spray sealer or would regular make up setting spray and setting powder work? Want to make sure I get the order right and not pay extra in product/shipping
you're a beautiful old lady! :) nice work, thanks for the tips!
That's awesome! You still look great ;-)

I loved D's tutorial dea thank u fr such a nice n informative video
Thank you, this is exactly what I needed. College film student in my thirties and today I need to try and look 50.
This is awesome. Thank you so much, this will help tremendously with my low budget film.
amazing work. I thought I was watching a big budget movie about a mom and her daughter! lol
I have to say as a filmmaker this is invaluable. Now actors can actually age easily in a movie without waiting 20+ years!
They did this with the actors in Watchmen. They knew aging young actors was more convenient than hiring older actors for the role.
You are so talented!!!
How do you get the alcohol activated paints out of your hair?? Just by using more alcohol (cuz wouldn’t that damage your hair?), or is there a trick?
this is really cool. it's like i can actually see you getting older
hey, could you do a tutorial on how to do very saw chapped lips....? I have no idea where to start on that one. YOUR SO TALENTED ITS NOT EVEN FUNNY! Ly. xxx
Tooma bh Thank you!!
Your welcome! + you'll be a gorgeous old lady. x
hey! I loved the tutorial! I have a question, how long can you stay with the latex on your face? I have a fear that, because of the stretching, after a long time with this forcing the skin, it would actually create real wrinckles, is that possible?
Does the sculpt gel you use wear pretty well? I like nose and scar wax but it melts and falls off too easily to go to a party...
I love your videos but could you slow them down a bit especially when your doing the coloring? also, is it ok to put latex or your eye area as it's such a sensitive area or is the Ben Nye specifically designed for it?
What is the difference between an aging stipple and normal liquid latex? Thanks :)
I have to do this on one of my cast mates for a theatre performance next week. What should I use instead of the eyeshadow palette as it is for theatre?
You can still use eyeshadow just use it a little more heavily to avoid the person getting flushed out by lights. Having experience doing that, it works better than you think.
so did you do your foundation first?
Can i used loose powder??instead of neutral set powder??
Going to do this so I can get served alcohol as I'm underage 😏
Did it work?
Laura Floyd did it??
Sameee!😂
Would Mac cleanse off oil help remove this makeup?
this was awesome
What type of sponge did you use? Is it damp? I tried using on with one and the sponge just soaked up all the liquid latex, Ireally need help. Thank youuu

This comment is open for anyone to answer!
do i have to put foundation under latex?
how it afterwards to clean up?
Really great video. Extremely useful and then funny. Instant subscribe. ..call your mom.
I would be scared to get the latex on my eyelid, what if I get it on my eyelashes?
OMG the part of the fb comment killed me ahahahaha i love you girl
I wonder how many high schoolers are going to use this tactic to get into the liquor store without an ID. XD great video!
Going to mention this. Don’t apply too much at once. Apply multiple thin layers. Also SHAVE. It is very painful to get off if you don’t
YOU PUT IT ON THE EYE?
Whats last song called?
That sad/winedance killed me. Lolol
You made one big mistake though.. You're typing way too fast for a mom ;)
Skwawesome Hahaha yeah I filmed it 'slow' for me, which was still really fast. I ended up just cutting out most of it cause I am impatient :D
Hahahaha too funny! I'm new subby and noticing you a lot more as great artist but also fun personality and you're beautiful!
Really cool effect again Kiana! When I first look at the thumbnail I thought was your mother in the picture... Hahahahaha And wow, your skin supposed to become so red when you uses the makeup remover? Hahaha That scared me a bit...

Your tips were great, but the end result is kind of obvious. I could definitely tell even at first glance that you were wearing makeup.
