Heidi, you and other boaters should wear ski caps, which would cover everything on your face. Of course, you'd take it off while cruising. Protective eye wear would be helpful. We are counting on you to take good care of yourself. What in the world would we do without seeing you weekly?!
I can’t wait for the European Adventure! Good job getting the Wench serviced, always a good idea to get ahead of problems. There’s cold and then there’s cold on the water, the shot of frost on your mooring ropes made me shiver. A tip for cold feet is to line the bottom of your shoes with aluminum foil, sounds weird but it can work. And finally, New Years resolutions are for chumps, they only make you feel bad about yourself.

Kinder scout via gindsbrook or the pennine way to kinder downfall, also the Great Ridge to lose hill has amazing views. Win hill via parkin clough is good steep uphill fun! Wish I was there now but probably freeze in my tent 🤣😁

The sunken fibreglass boat has been removed at last ! 🤪 😅 We walked down the Bridgewater on Tuesday. Standing there in person, the scale beyond belief. The embankment has washed right away to the original level of the fields 😳 Where the navvies first started pile up the spoil 250 years ago. Lol Fingers crossed Peel actually fix it ! The Government had to step in and pay in 1971, Peel didnt own it then though.
I gave up on NY resolutions last year!! I was beyond feeling frustrated and letting myself down! I'm much happier now knowing I'm free of that millstone around my neck. 🎉

Lovely cruise this week. Would love that Hike though it would take me a lot longer with my broken body. Temps went from -35C to a very balmy 4C stayed there for about five days. Ugh! Didn't melt much. -24C now which is a nice temp though it's suppose to get back up to around zero C Saturday. Stay warm dear lady!

Dry January??? Any-hoo it's been beautiful and sunny in Barcelona. 2C coldest early morning temperature but in the sun after 10 a.m. 10 to 15 degrees, so if you venture over here let me know! No new years resolutions but gave up smoking over a month ago, so just finishing the bat sh*t crazy phase 😆
Very disappointing your most high Pirateness. Those temperatures were ideal for hunting the mysterious chapel coat peg instead of which you sat in a nice warm pub which is the worst condition possible for observing said pegs. 😂🍻🍻🥂🥂
