I love them ! My 2012 Bred's still look DS and I wear them. These are going to hold up even better. The 23 on the back is stitched, the tumbled leather on the upper is buttery. The back being reinforced nubuck is going to hold up to creasing a lot better than the leather of the past. I think the best part gong forward will be the sole. I think it is a good compromise between the icy soles and the red soles. I dig the creamy look on these and the 6's. I think these are going to age a little more gracefully than a straight icy sole. I think the yellowing will happen but it will not be as evident. Nike finished the year very strong 2 classic in OG color ways (Aqua 8 & Maroon 6) and then on OG unreleased 11 sample! I think 2016 is gonna be a dope but expensive year. Those Metallic 5's have me drooling. I spent too much today ... 2 pairs of 72-10 for me , a pair of GS for my son , another Maroon 6 , and a pair of PSNY's .. that's a cool $1100 ... damn you Nike ...

finally got mine 2 hours ago. found it at local thrift shop for 15 bucks!! need to restore the outsole. to make it milky again! the upper, tumbled leather, patented leather are still great. After 6 years!!! wohoooooo.
Nightwing, JB said ALL of their retros would be remastered starting in January of this year, just FYI. It's in some of the interviews with sneaker blogs early this year. But I agree these don't look any different than old XI's.
The leather on these is left overs from the Oreo 4's. Its a good smell. Congrats to the ppl who we're able to purchase these in-store and online with no problem. I had to pay a little over half on top of the original price just to get my pair. I didn't have to wait in line or anything but, I did have to work. Never been the type to camp for a shoe so all I had to do was pay my resale plug a visit and that extra money and it was no problem. I checked my pair for that rumor about the yellowing and one thing I have to say is that since the sole is milky its going to happens regardless. Same happened to everybody who got a pair of the Columbias. Thats for the newbs that didnt know. Salaam !

I got my pair yesterday. The lining and waiting really drives me crazy. I was in line 5:00 AM in the morning. The store started to sell them at 11:30 AM. There were 120 pairs and I was lucky enough to buy the last pair of US 9 at around 12:00 PM. The 120 pair were all sold out at 1:00PM!!! It costs me 240 US but it doesn't feel like one on foot. It's really stiff and uncomfortable but aesthetically, these are pretty nice. :)

i got 3 pairs, all have flaws/defects... gonna return 1 pair to nike; gonna wear another one and gonna put the one with the least amount of flaws on ice... the one i am returning has MANY defects... -RIGHT SHOE: massive yellow glue stain on white mid-sole, also the mid-sole is scratched up all over, carbon fiber plate is all messed up (looks stretched out) -LEFT SHOE: scuff marks on patent leather on top of toe cap, scuff marks near the logo, part of white mid-sole is not glued to rest of shoe, and a random piece of string is sticking out from inBETWEEN where the mid-sole is glued onto the patent leather.
