we have used this product recently to adhere PIR panels to concrete. It is absolutely brilliant.
Soudal heeft de best merk van silicone 💪👍
This sealant is awesome I use it most days
I’m going to stick aluminium plates underneath my aluminium hull instead of welding hairline cracks. Once fully reinforced. Coat it with line x
Just bought some, good info, thanks. Have you guys tested it on powder coated surfaces? If it works well, I think I might be buying loads of it.
SupaLexy CH1 Did you get any reply or tested it? I also need it for powder coated surface. Powder coated aluminium.
No, no reply. I did not try it on powdercoat surfaces yet.
Hi SupaNautica, apoligies for the lateness in reply, but the emails were coming through. All power coated surfaces from different manufacturers must be treated differently as their process varies. In some cases we get very good adhesion without treating the surface first, but other cases are not so good. The best way is to prepare the surface prior with our Soudal Activator Spray 601 and then this way it'll work each time.
how well will it stick to acrylic/perspex
....
Is it heat resistant if anyone knows can you tell me
How can it be removed?
Had this recommended to me by someone who works with metal and he said it is far better than the sikaflex products, I tried it on some alloy in the corner of a 5.5x2.5 meter frame by gluing a some 75x75x3mm angled. When we went to square up the frame one of the sides popped of. I did not however clean the alloy or sand it before hand. I would of expected the the angled piece to bend before coming un stuck but will test again preparing the surface better...This advertisement does nothing to tell anyone how strong it is.
Hi Jedics, thanks for your message. Cleaning / degreasing any non-porous (won't absorb water) is very important. All new alloy will have a coating on it and this needs to be removed. We produce a product called Cleaner & Degreaser and this flashes off very quickly, so ideal to use prior to T-Rex. I assure you that once this is done, you'll have a permanent bond.
@@SoudalAustraliaTV Yes I did some tests and got much better results roughing up the surfaces and de greasing. Is the fast grip available is the sausage format? I don't like the waste of using the 300ml format.
Yes Fast Grab is available in 600ml sausages in white!
Will it stick fiberglass to steel can any one tell me
Mark Barry it certainly will
is resistant to solvents as fuel ?
In french Please
Worst product i have ever used, yes it sticks to anything but can easily come off with your fingernail., pills badly when rubbed when dry ... so will wear away during any cleaning process eg: wet area gap/corner seal... Extremely hard to squeeze out of the nozzle.... IT IS NOT A STRONG ADHESIVE.
I tried to use on a rubber Universal lip for my car and it doesn't work ! Worst glue ever , seriously. Ive been pressing for minutes ! but it won't glue any fkng sht😂 lmao . trash, waste of money.
