I’m 13 and even though this was three years ago , THIS REALLY HEPLED.I am a really good maths student but always struggles with rounding off decimals but was too shy-ish👀😹to ask because everyone expects me to know all of this and asking for help and exposing my weakness would have been a bit embarrassing.😹😹But now you’ve helped so THANKS ALOT MA’AM, (I also have a maths exam tommorow so you basically saved my life virtually😹😹)

7.45 becomes 7.4.
There is a special case for 5 with zeros following it. Than you have to check for the number preceding 5 is even or odd. If it is even then dont round up and if it is odd than round up.
E.g.for 1 decimal place 7.35 will become 7.4

In rounding to 1dp, isn't the 7.5 supposed to be 7.4? When the number to discard is 5 we only round up if the last digit will be even.
