Meet Angeline of the Solomon Islands

In 2014, Angeline of the Solomon Islands received her first loan of $390 USD / $500 NZD to start her micro-enterprise. Today, she operates a thriving canteen. Over the years, she used her multiple loans to expand her shop and pay for her four children’s school fees.
SPBD has not only provided Angeline with a financial opportunity but also a business education. Through business training workshops, Angeline learned critical marketing skills that she uses each day to attract new customers and grow her canteen.
