God touched my heart with this song because it relates to something that happened to me recently. I usually do not spread the word of Jesus to people. I have not been stable spiritually speaking in years. Yet, last Christmas the youth group of my church and I were on vacation. We decided to do something new for God. We went downtown and gave out candy with a small message about Jesus and his redeeming love. From all the people that we talked to, there was this man who was a preacher's kid and he separated from the church, his family and God 10 years ago. He was homeless and living a very unstable life. I spoke to him special words that came out of nowhere, and that's the only thing pierced his armor of pride and resentment. He cried and I cried, too. We hugged each other and I gave him my number so he could call me whenever he nedded to speak to someone. Well, he somehow got to our town and called me and told me how what I said had changed his heart and he couldn't spent another minute living the life he was living. My family and I helped him economically, and devised a plan to get him out of the streets. He started going to church, but we faced a lot of backlash for helping him. My pastor, the church leaders, and many other from our church gave us their backs because they thought that what we were doing was not what we supposed to do. They said I only supposed to deliver Jesus message, not my phone number to this man. Because people would take advantage of that. However, I prayed and prayed and asked God for guidence and to give me strength. I cried many nights, and I got very very stressed. My heart was shattered due to the attitude of my brothers and sisters. But I genuinely wanted to show the true love of God to this man. Eventually the teens from the youth group were the ones who took the initiative to help me to help him. That's when I saw God glorifying through us. No matter if this man is trying or not to trick us. I still was delighted to see that passionate love in the youth group. So, yes, not many would know, not many would care about it, but Love Does!

I just started doing PSEO for college, living at home. I was homeschooled for 8 years and struggle in social situations because of it. I often break down. I feel lonely and don't have many close friends. I really want to talk to people and I want people to come up to me and start a conversation. But when they do I am so awkward it is normally only a few words. I have absolutely no idea what I want to do for a career and am struggling in school. I feel as if school is not for me. I am just not good at it. But homeschooling has also caused me to slack off and do less work. I am only in two classes and one is online but it feels like to much. I have never had a job. I don't drive yet. I have fallen behind in a lot of life essentials. I have an addiction I get pulled to daily. I know there is a lot of people who have it worse but will anyone pray for me?
Anna, remember that no one is alone or forgotten by God. You are a child of God whether you realize it or not and He is your father in heaven. And like a father he will always love you and never abandon you. You may have a lack of social skills or friends but that doesn't matter to God. He loves you all the same. Philippians 4:13 says; "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Put ALL of your trust in God, and he will keep you on the straight and narrow path that leads to Him. In other words, don't worry about your lack of social skills or friends. Put your trust in Him alone and pursue Him at all costs and these things will come in time. p.s.
