I would like to express my happiness to teacher Luke! You’re such a great human being, may your surroundings blessed you well. I’ve studied for the past two weeks by just watching all of your videos! (LITERALLY ALL OF THEM😋) I’ve got the 135 overall score - Literacy (140) - Comprehension (135) - Conversation (135) - Production (140) Although I was kind of scared about the scores but I guess it’s more than enought than what I’ve expected! Special thanks to you Teacher Luke, you guided us so well, specifically on the production section that people usually find kind of difficult (but I guess I managed to get a sufficient 140 score for it). I know my comment is too long, but I do hoped that people that were enrolling to this exam to be relaxed but prepared at the same time. In addition to Teacher Luke, you are a true hero for us! Keep doing this! You never know how people are so grateful for what you’ve create.
Hi teacher Luke, I would like to thank you for such a wonderful work. I did watch your videos and passed my Duolingo test with pretty good scores, getting 130 overall. Thank you yet again for your support and kind help ❤

Hi, thank you for your great videos. I got my test results back in less than 30 hours and scored 140. For all of those wondering, you can practice these sentences out loud before hitting the record button (at least that's what I did and I got certified).
Hie teacher Luke, i came back to say thank you for your tips and practice material. I practiced using your videos for just 4 days then i went to write the test. Hi, it's hard for me to give specific advice because I don't know your strengths and weaknesses. However, most students struggle with the production questions (speaking and writing), so I suggest you practice those the most. Good luck on the test!
I am preparing for duolingo and found your videos the best.Your work is highly remarkable and appreciated.keep it up. May Allah give you that which you want.
Hi, I just learned about the DET, can someone please tell me how to calcute the overall score, i took the test with a score 70-120. So what is my overall score? Thanks for replying to me ❤

Because at the beginning you said I should read as it,. Then around the end of your video, you say I can say I'll, so as to replace I will. Another question is, what if you read, make a mistake or statter and then you start again. What then happens?
Helllo Sir luke.. i wantes to ask something. In Select the real words types question! I am getting verbs of 4th forms and 3rd forms also. Will these words be correct or incorrent ??? I m little bit confuse about this
Hi Teacher Luke, Now I'm a bit confused. So every time I have to read something like for example "I will" I have to contract it and read it "I'll" ? What if I read it as it is written? Will I lose points?
Hey! Good question! I don't think you will lose points if it is written in its full form as long as you do include other features of English pronunciation such as intonation, stress, and correct pronunciation of the phonemes. 😃👍
Hi Luke, thank you for all the videos! Is it necessary to contract? Because I thought I had to read exactly as the sentence is written, so if it is long-form, I read it in long-form and if it is in the contracted form, I read it in the contracted form. Also, I noticed in some listen and type exercises that the recording was in long-form, but you gave the answer in the contracted form or vice versa the recording was in the contracted form, but you gave the answer in long-form. So, whenever I have the chance to contract, should I contract? Thank you in advance! :D
Hi Teacher Luke, Can you asnwered this question: is it necessary to use the 20 seconds? i mean if i had plenty of time, what would i do? and the other question is: always in a sentence i have to contract the words, for example if i have to say in the phase "i will" i would replace it for i'll?
Thanks again, and I have a question please, can I read the sentence as it written ( I will ask him to come over as soon as possible) with keeping the content and fluency?
Hi Luke , You are an amazing teacher. You are really teaching so nicely but I get confused when it comes to speaking part even though I know about the things it's hard to speak in front of camera. Can you please suggest something
Yeah it does feel awkward at first. I think the best thing to overcome this is just to practice speaking to yourself and taking the practice test a lot of times. 😀
