Everything is fine, There are false statements on that 1. Interference Problem - You need to understand that smart switches connect to existing wifi, it creates wifi hotspot only for the fist time connection, and no matter how many wifi's are there in your area, you won't get interfered with another network. 2. Radio pollution is something that doesn't exist, all those radiation are non-ionizing radiation multiples researches are done on that, it doesn't affect your health. 3. My internet doesn't get slow when my neighbour uses smart switch or my neighbour watches a 4K video on his TV. 4. Even If I use multiple smart switches it doesn't reduce my internet speed a lot, the drop would be very minimal you won't even notice it. 5. Your concern on privacy is good, even if Chinese company knows when I turn on/off my ac, they can't too much with that data, my personal information might be useful to the company, but data like when I turn on/off my ac doesn't have lot of value for them.

Channel 1, 6, 11 won't overlap, You can set it manually in your router. Also set the channel width to 20 Mhz instead of 20/40. You will have a stable wifi connection
I used hard wiring and I don't prefer wifi much. But I have seen apartments with 6 houses in a floor and 4 storey building, 2.4 & 5ghz seems to be a mess...

I have faced below problems in smart switch 1] The chinese app server wont work some times so app will show not connected 2] schedule is not stored in smartswitch instead it will send by app so if any server problem it wont work 3] is there any way to use smartswitch with offline wifi also when you haven't recharged for internet?
There is a opensource smart switch. You can try to make one. Raspberry Pi can achieve the same but installation should be done ideologically... Ideas has no limits :)

I don't think so. Internet speed will reduce in apartments. Each and every home has a separate connection. What I use and how many members are using it in my home will affect the speed. Not because of the frequency of 2.4 gz or 5gz

I have made provisionig for cables since I prefer reliability over costing. Needs lesser maintenance and becomes multi purpose. Solves the purpose :)
